Get legal advice on no win no fee solicitors
A no win no fee lawyer (a lawer that works on a contingent fee basis) generally only takes personal injury cases. Even then, you are generally liable for fileing fees, and court fees no matter who wins.
Since you seem to be asking about a contract dispute lawyer, I don’t think you’ll find one that works only on contingency.
If you want to persue a legal case against the person or company, you will have to pay a laywer for his time to prepare, file, and try the case. Unless you are out a large sum of money, it might not be worth your time.
If the amount of money is relatively small you could explore small claims court, but that is generally limited to claims under $2000 or so (depending on your state).
