17/10/23 - Reviewed by John Murphy

I have been with mjp for 23 year's, I first met rep Tony Jones in a Chester plod shop, me and 2 mates, nicked on utmv ×2 dizzy driving ×2, I have been getting arrested since the age of 13 so I had used so many different briefs from different parts of the UK up until I got mr Jones, and I was then 16. He was on fire, we wer all 47/3 bailed and out of there. I didn't know a solicitor was even aloud to speak up for you during interview, well he does and he does it every single time, I couldn't possibly tell you how many times mr Tony Jones has helped me in 23 year's but it is a lot. In wirral custody sweet I have had the ones who take your finger prints,(the jailers) try and get me to pick a different brief when I ask for Tony by talking rubbish about the man, they have had to apologise to Tony in front of me and there own boss, they didn't do it again. I remember once I had a broken my right leg, I was nicked for Utmv, I asked of course for Tony but was sent a man called Jimmy Gore, by my own stupidity I excepted as he was now here, mr gorse words wer "don't worry you will be bailed due to my leg being broken I can't drive, if they try to keep you in I will get back down here and sort it out, well guess what? The plod got a doctor who said I can drive a automatic and bail was refused on Saturday afternoon. Jimmy gorse phone was now ????. I got through to Tony who said put me on the phone to the Sargent, I heard only a couple of yes's and put me back on the phone to Tony. He said OK mr Murphy your getting your bail if you don't contact me in the next hour I will be phoning back, I was released on bail within the hour, this is just one of many times Tony has helped me he always goes above and beyond for someone in need of a professional help, I have never experienced any other solocitor represent you the way Tony Jones does and please believe me when I say, he does it every single time day night whenever you need help just ask for him and he will get there. Unfortunately there have been several times mjp have sent different people who have told me Tony is busy, so I have said the same and that is if I can't have Tony I will go to a different firm and within 30 minutes Tony is at the police station as he has only just been told and it does say on the relevant documents what time you originally asked fot Tony, ( I don't know why they do this) Now Mjp have always got extremely good barrister for crown I even been given a QC for agg burgs & robbery cases, but let me tell you that your case might end with a flashy barrister in the crown BUT and it's a very big BUT it all starts with that rep they send you for your interview and you get given poor advice and they don't help you the way Tony does then belive me your barrister will struggle to get it right later on in your case. Friday just gone I was arrested for breach of bail ×2, common assault and it was a pack of lies, I asked for Tony and mjp sent some guy, I asked where Tony was and his answer was he is here now. I said it's Tony or I go another firm, long story short, Tony was there within half an hour and conducted his bissnes the way he does, he got 2 charges gone now I was down to 1breach of bail, and that was lashed as well!!! Tony I would like to just say from me and my family THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the help over the last two decades it means everything you are in a different league. Thanks again John Murphy & family

I can’t thank Mr Anthony Jones enough for everything he has done for me in the police station over the last few years. He is a very professional, straight talking individual who knows the law inside out. I wouldn’t trust anybody else to represent me. I only use MJP firm for his services as I find nobody else is as good as him, including the other solicitors at MJP.

City of Liverpool prosecution bully team decided to take me to court over direct payments issue. I never ever step in a police station let alone a court of law with the potential of prison custody.

I contacted MJP through their online enquiry system. I received a call of James Gore within an hour, arranged for a meeting within days.

James Gore knew his job inside & out! Helped me, boosted my confidence all the way, my trial was dragged on for a year and eventually, I wasn't charged all thanks to God & James.

I would recommend MJP and in particular James Gore to anyone who needs a representative in the court of law.

I'm currently being represented by Mr Anthony Jones who has also been my police station solicitor in the past, I have found his work and attention to clients is second to none. He has always done the Upmost for me & I have grown to have a lot of respect & trust in him. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him he's always on the end of the phone when I've needed him. He's very professional. I would strongly reccomend Mr Anthony Jones & Mr Danny Mavers to anyone who is looking for any legal advice.

I met with James Gore in May 2015. Prior to meeting James, I researched him and read his reviews. The moment I met him, I knew he was the man for my case... He knew his stuff, and that was good enough for me...

James was instructed to represent me for a criminal case in benefit fraud in October 2015...

You are not just a name on a piece of paper to James, he will fight for you every step of the way... And will be there at the end of the phone when you need him...

Friendly and approachable, James knows his stuff. Not a man to be messed with when put in the court room.... He got me the result I wanted... Never once did I have doubts that he wouldn't...

So when I needed a solicitor 2 weeks ago for a tribunal regarding the overpayment in my benefits, I didn't think twice to instruct James again.... James sat and represented, and again we got the result we wanted!!

I 100% believe that without James and his knowledge and commitment, justice would not have been served to myself.....

Without a shadow of doubt I would definately recommend James Gore.

      Mr James Gore,

I consider James Gore as the Nick Freeman otherwise known as Mr Loophole in Driving Law in England.

James work as a Solicitor within MJP solicitors and the offices are at Castle Street Liverpool, link to the page is below.

      http://www.mjpsolicitors.co.uk/

First impressions on going to the offices at MJR are not good, I thought it was some back street Law firm and the offices are old and dated, small client waiting area and not good lighting but I have to say the service and knowledge of this man known as James Gore is vast, He deals in DWP legislation, this man has spent his profession studying the technicalities in Benefit Law.

I can from personal experience this is a person like a dog with a bone, he will fight tooth and nail for his clients and will not just as you to plead guilty, if he looks at a case and believes there is an avenue to pursue in a not guilty he will stand in your corner and fight your case,

I am from Liverpool and have grave concerns about most Liverpool Law firms, all just milk the legal aid and don't give a toss about the outcome only to be happy to inform you after they have took all the money you are guilty.

Even after calling some big law firms in London, Manchester and more out of Liverpool, here was this little Gem of a man based in Liverpool hardly known at all.

I feel he will no doubt progress through the ranks and be a well-known Solicitor, I can't thank him enough for what he done in my case and can honestly put my hand on my heart and say use him, it's such a complex area in DWP law and he is the man for the Job

If you have a case of a prosecution/investigation with the DWP then call James Gore.
