I went for the no fee no win service and although I did get good compensation it was at a cost of my health. It lasted longer than expected and in that 5 years, life as you can imagine, it completely changed. I had a close bereavement a devastating loss. Finally walking away from an abusive relationship too. Family members not being well. As you can imagine a lot changes in 5 years. There was absolutely no compassion shown by this particular woman. She made me feel so pressurised and If I could turn the clocks back I would not bother. No amount of money would compensate for how she made me feel at my most vulnerable. I used to dread her letters coming. She knew I was not educated and I felt I was taken advantage of. It was a relief for it all to be over. Never again.

General Legal advice

Company went into liquidation and unknown to me I was liable personally for work carried out by Actons even when I was critically ill for 3 months in hospital. Who gave Actons the go ahead to carry out these works for the 3 months, couldn’t have been me as I was in intensive care and I was the only one.
