They are now trading from the same building as Charter Solicitors doing criminal work they are a farce who are robbing the legal aid agency and not doing any work on cases. All what they are interested in is money that's all. It's a scam company stay well away

Charter solicitors is in no way affiliated with Allerton and Kaye solicitors. We are reporting this article and is clearly been put up by a disgruntled competitor. Nonsense visit our face book page, our results speak for themselves.

I commissioned their services paying the full fee of £2000 they did nothing for me I took my complaint to the Legal Ombudsman who ruled in my favour and I wrote to the insurance company who are Travelers Insurance CO LTD to get my money back as this was what I was advised by the legal Ombudsman and they drafted the letter to the insurance company, they wrote back and said we do not provide insurance in respect of fees charged by or paid to the law firm. So this meant they were not refunding my fee.
Anyone else had this problem and what result did they get

This company was absolutely disgusting. All they did was take money from people and did not keep any promises made. Daniel, Steven, wasI'm, etc should all be embarrassed as they are not fit to be called human beings. Company now closed down.

The legal ombudsman arrived in my favour as they agreed Allerton Kaye failed to serve in my interest and didn't perform as they should. I'm now in the process of trying to retrieve my money but this could be a forlorn hope. Based on the amount of people in similar situation do you think getting the police involved to try and stop them from behaving in this manner?

Allerton-Kaye have not responded to many emails in respect of my immigration application and they will not advise me as to whether the application was successful. Because they charged a fixed fee, I presume that they think that they can stop providing the service which they contracted to do. I have complained to the Legal Ombudsman and made a formal complaint to Steven Kaye, Compliance Partner and this was not even acknowledged never mind a response. All I am looking for is a status update which should be a simple matter.

MY ADVICE TO YOU ALL IS TO CONTACT THE POLICE NEVER MIND CHASING THE LAW SOCIETY.
THE LAW SOCIETY HAVE A COMPENSATION FUND BUT THEY DO NOT LIKE PAYING OUT.
CONTACT THE POLICE YOU ARE ALL VICTIMS OF UPFRONT FEE FRAUD.

I feel the pain a lot of people here do feel. Allerton and Kaye so called solicitors are nothing but a scam. They robbed me off thousands of pounds and now they seem to have dissappeared off the face of the earth. Steven, Daniel, Sarah and Wasim are thieves on the run. Could we combine forces to track down these outrageous individuals and put a stop to their crime spree? I have flown from Nairobi to the UK now to get justice. My number is 07947 33 6614

The legal ombudsman have confirmed they have now closed and any chances of me getting my money is from their insurers. I'm told that if they decline then the ombudsman have no more authority to take things further. This is a disaster...

These frauds have also taken my money $4000Aus without delivering, will not respond to any emails or phone calls and call they responded by promising to refund my money back into my account within 24 hours, has been 9 months and still waiting. Steve Kaye is running this scam of a business. This Steve who is running this so called company assured and promised to refund my money. I am now in Australia and is difficult for me to chase him up. Hope anyone can help or advised or get together to see what we can all do to catch this thief. Have his personal details if anyone is interested in following this person. Desperate to have this person up on fraud and criminal charges.

sorry to hear your news. if you can contact the Legal Ombudsman as they will investigate them. I too paid over £3500 and their service was non existent. I had the promise of Steve Kaye would personally handle my complaint but he avoided all calls and emails. The ombudsman is due to make their findings in a few weeks time and they have reported Allerton to the SRA as well for failing to respond to requests. I mentioned to the ombudsman about the other complaints on here but was told they would only look my case individually.
They also passed my case onto another company which had no legal authority to work on my case. My barrister has just informed that this gone out of business as he's chasing them for non payment to him
They are a shambles

I too have had an extremely bad service and they continuously refuse to answer my calls and emails. I have reported them to the legal ombudsman and waiting feedback. is there anyway we can club together on this?

I do not recommend this firm. Very costly. They never tell me what's going on. They NEVER even call me back or respond to my emails. I feel left in the dark. Most of my saved money went them. I'm in despair.

This is for who ever cancelled My previous review. Do not cancelled this one i will keep checking every week and if you keep doing that i will keep putting review bad and more bad ones.
And i defenetly think that all the 5 stars review you have are not reall because i meet so many pleople which are inthe same situation as me. Know the legal Ombursman will take care of My case.
I will wait for My money but i will get it one day.

I just finded out that one of My review that i posted sometimes ago has been cancell and not from me. I will post again just to let people know that this firm are there to waist your money. I strong recomended to run away from them. They lied to me so many Times and made me cry like a baby because i didnt have more money to pay a different solicitors for My matter. Since i posted My first review with My telephone number so many people got in touch with me telling me the same story all over again. Like me they payed lots of money and never got the service they payed for.
I dont belive they even cancelled My first review without telling me anything.

Stay away from this firm is only an Internet scam. They use a call center to make you belive that theyare the best and everything they say is a lie.

Iam sorry i read other reviews, do i have the wrong firm, allerton kaye have done nothing to help me, ive wasted a lot of money on this firm, ive been lied to on a number of occasions, thay have not helped with any paper work, to be honist i dont know what thay have done becouse thay dont tell me, if thay say thay will call you back ,thay will not, i dont want to go on and on but lets just say the ombudsmon has been called,and now iam forced to give them one star, when it should be 0...

Correct in every sense, they have now disappeard with my money. Call (SRA) Solicitors Regulation Authority, and the Ombudsman ,they have been great .This company has now closed up are are being investigated .
