My solicitor was easy to reach by telephone and email, which made the stressful process much easier.
Chris has great legal knowledge, was informative and honest to set my expectations, guiding me in the right direction.
There was flexibility provided to suit my availability and location, to meet and drop off, sign documents etc.
The final transaction was easy to navigate through with Chris on board.

The service I received was excellent. To top it all off, Carole Hack went that extra mile to assist in resolving my situation.

The one thing I have to mention is as a firm Amphlett Lisimore are excellent but very expensive. Which limits their service to those that need them the most, customers in need and on a limited budget, which is a shame!
If not for this one thing I would rate them 5 out of 5.

We have used Amphlett Lissimore for conveyancing the purchase of our property Acorn recommended. Although we purchased a new home the quotation we have been given was for a second-hand property. The quotation increased for a new property acquired via Help to Buy. Prices on the quotation did not include VAT. Being a private purchase the prices + VAT should have been shown in the quotation.
It turned out to be a difficult purchase with loads of emails exchanged.
We had a good communication with Jasmin Norton and Leah Campbell. They replied promptly to all our enquiries and gave us professional advice. Overall happy with the service provided.

I found Akilah and especially her probate assistant, Shelagh, very helpful throughout the whole process. Both were friendly, approachable and professional. Despite the difficulties and additional problems that were thrown up by the pandemic scenario, together with the frustration of third party issues beyond their control, any questions I had were quickly responded to, and, where needed, chased up, promptly.

I recently had a property purchase and your convincing team handled the transaction with caution. The property had a very short lease but Neelam was excellent in preparing and finalising the negotiations. She is very attentive in the work she does and always a phone call away to answer any queries, never left waiting for hours or days. We have used her expertise twice now and will continue to so.

Attorney McEween and assistants have been extremely helpful and patient with the handling of a probate matter for my mother who is 88 years old and myself despite the fact that we both now reside in Grenada, West Indies.
All of her advice and recommendations helped to lessen the stress and alleviate the burdens we would have faced in sorting this very important matter out after the passing of my sister and my mother,s deterioration in her health.

Claire Pays and Nicola Curtis dealt with the sale of a leasehold flat for myself and my brother. I am my brother's attorney (LPA), he was the leaseholder.
The sale went through very quickly. Enquiries from the purchaser were relayed promptly and the relevant documents obtained from the landlord. There were no difficulties progressing the transaction on behalf of my brother. I was pleased and impressed with the service we received.

I contacted the office in West Wickham and an appointment with the Lawyer, Mrs. Judith Hurle. I attended with my wife and my daughter, who just graduated from Law School. Mrs. Hurle was very patient in listening to my explanations of what I wanted the WILL to contain and she explained clearly what the law requires. Based on that she prepared a 1St draft on which I and my family had some minor comments. She prepared a 2nd draft which again I had a comment on which she gracefully accepted and sent me a 3rd draft which I accepted and asked for a date to sign the WILL. However, before a signing appointment could be made I had an important amendment which was made and a 4th and final draft was sent to me and I accepted it. A date was set for signing and that was it. In summary your service was efficient in all respects.

This latest conveyancing was particularly challenging especially in relation to the buyers and and their solicitor's response times but I am pleased to say Nigel kept me in the loop at all times.

I was pleased with your conveyancing services, and your successful efforts to solve a problem delaying the completion of my house sale - a problem mainly caused by slowness and lack of attention on the part of my buyer's solicitor.
Nigel Leonard was extremely pleasant to deal with, and very helpful.
This was the first time I had sold a property in England and, despite your good work, I found it a fairly slow and cumbersome process. It might be useful if you prepared a step-by-step guide for clients new to this process - particularly indicating how long the various stages might take.

At first we had a slow start with one solicitor.

I had a good experience working with Nigel and Lisa, and many of the team during the 4 month conveyancing period for my flat sale and flat purchase in Croydon. My transactions were during the stamp duty holiday period active during COVID, with a deadline of 30th June 2021. It was a pressurised period and I was grateful for Nigel's cool head and Lisa's persistence during what was a somewhat stressful and pressurised time. My sale was a drawn out but we got there in the end and made the stamp duty holiday - completing on the final day. Thanks Nigel and the team at West Wickham. Mark

It has been a long 3 years to get my Joint Custody and Divorce sorted, but Sam and her team where there for me every step of the way. All of the team including the barristers where polite, friendly and very reassuring, making me feel so at ease every time I needed to attend court. They kept me up to date with developments and told me when I needed to complete things. I was very happy with the service from Sam and all her team and very, very happy with the outcome.

We were referred to you by Lifetime Legal to handle the conveyancing for our first property purchase. Overall we were very happy with the service provided, Vursha was always very helpful and supportive, and her work was extremely thorough, so we felt confident that we would get the best possible service at all times.

There were a few hiccups along the way initially, since I believe the person first assigned to us left the company, and when Vursha took over we had to re-send some of the documents and re-clarify some things. Like the fact that we are first time buyers and didn't need to pay stamp duty, which was repeatedly put down incorrectly and we had to ask to change it.

In the end the amount we paid was significantly higher than what was initially quoted due to some additional charges for extra work, which was unpleasant but not unexpected, as I've been told this is quite normal.

Overall we were very happy with the service provided and how it was handled, and I would recommend your services to others.

Amphlett Lissimore helped me in sale of my property as well as purchasing a new leasehold property. I have used their conveyancing services before, they always pay attention to detail and give responses swiftly to any queries raised.

Being in a chain this time, they managed the entire process really well where I felt valued and any slight tecnical hiccups whether from the vendors solicitors, lender or the managing agent, were dealt with professionalism and care.

Despite our house purchase taking place during the pandemic, Amphlett Lissimore Bagshaws LLP were helpful and thorough at all times. This was a very difficult time... with offers on 4 properties, 3 of which weren't to be, and were guided and helped with each one. When we finally got our house after a complicated extended wait ( probate buy) I am grateful for their intelligent and robust support and can recommend you use this company.

Not the smoothest of house sales following originAl buyer pulling out at the last minute (literally!). But after finding a new buyer, the sale was finally completed without any problems.
