On the fifth anniversary of me engaging this solicitor I provide this review. This woman promised lots & her charges were “incredible” according to one of the 2 female judges in my case. I was brought to near bankruptcy and the risk of losing my career my home everything through this woman’s charges, She even charged me a great sum from my meagre final settlement and then when I tried to query this found she had blocked me from contacting her.. Certainly would not recommend this practice to anybody.

Dear Sean,
I have never blocked you from contacting me that is really very unfair and untrue as I have replied to all of your messages.
Your settlement was largely as you expected and as you were advised. I have no control over this as the decision was made by a judge at final hearing and she simply did not like you or your evidence. As you are aware your barrister did not do a good job. That was very unfair on you and it may have affected your settlement. The barrister did not get his written submissions to the judge on time and was late filing your appeal.
As you also know you appealed the judge's decsion with my help and won.
You were never been told by a judge that my charges were too high. Again that is simply untrue. You had every opportunity to challenge my fees but have never done so.
I know that this was not a happy experience for you but the was largely down to your wife's conduct in the case and the fact that she would not negotiate and kept making offers and withdrawing them. That was why you paid for a fully contested case. Your overall costs were also high because of the interest you were charged by Novitas for your litigation funding which is always expensive. That was what the judges commented on.

This my last communication as I am terminally ill with MND. Novitas have refunded me 25% of my loan-could never imagine Nadia admitting over charging & doing that. Imagine a legal "professional" charging £5 + vat for reading clients words. Exasperating greed purely. Sally Flood passed away 09/2023.

Nadia and her company have been fantastic, made me feel safe and held when I was at my very lowest in life. Straight talking but also extremely personable, very nurturing and considerate of both sides, which is a breath of fresh air. This is not a cheap fix, but you get what you pay for. I would use Nadia and her lovely support team over any other solicitor (and I have seen a couple before choosing Becketts) and have been very happy with the service. Many, many thanks. 5 stars!!

Nadia yet again provided us with a highly professional and knowledgeable service . We have been clients for many years and shall always refer to Nadia for guidance and results.
The charges are in line with the service provided and when you pay for the best representation with a high quality service it is likely you will get the results required. The results and judgement we received were entirely in line with our expectations.

Beckett Solicitors provided really sound advice and support at all stages of my divorce. They were thorough and organised with the paperwork for court proceedings as well as approachable and understanding during challenging times. At a day’s notice they were able to access top barristers and set up arbitration in London and ensure the best outcome for me. I would certainly recommend them to anyone going through divorce.

I have been extremely happy with the service I have received from Beckett Solicitors. Nadia Beckett has acted for me and I couldn’t have coped without her sound, supportive and realistic advice.
Nadia represented me at court, well prepared and informed and ALWAYS got the best possible result. With sometimes very short notice, she obviously had to prioritise my case to get documentation ready and I really felt that she had my back, which gave me much needed courage.
The family court outcome was pleasing and easily could have dragged on with the wrong representation. Whilst some posts on here refer to a high hourly rate, I can tell you that it is representative of the service that you will receive if you too instruct Nadia, I HIGHLY recommend her services.

How much were you charged per hour and how many years did your case take? Mine was a straight forward case (the judge agreed) but dragged on for some time.....unnecessarily and rates went up....unnecessarily! My case was dragged out....all for money!
Beckett Solicitors were just out for money in my opinion.
Zero stars I rate Beckett Solicitors....Never again and would never recommend.

I do know who this person (supposedly J) is as she has been the author of all of the recent negative reviews and comments. Her IP address is being monitored by the site administrator. I refused to act for this lady because she wanted me to act unethically and potentially and lawfully. When I refused to do so she started posting these negative comments. I carried out a very limited amount of work for her over a period of one possibly two weeks. I then terminated my business relationship with her.

I count myself as very fortunate to have found Beckett Solicitors. On my initial meeting with Nadia it was very clear to me that I had selected the right person to handle my case. She is extremely clear and upfront - which, for me at least, provided a sense of security and professionalism. I've dealt with solicitors in the past with whom I seemed to be constantly chasing for information and action. However my experience with Nadia was the complete opposite. Her communication is excellent, her planning and execution are equally good.
I had a very stressful couple of months and in that time I was very relieved to know that I had someone working for me who I knew was on the ball and ahead of the game. I really can't recommend Nadia and her team highly enough - if you're in any doubt about which firm to go with then do yourself a favour and book that first appointment.

I approached Beckett's part-way through my long drawn-out DIY divorce as I needed advice on how to make the decree nisi absolute and to enforce the consent order regarding my property - my ex-partner was being very stubborn and unhelpful and we had reached stalemate. Nadia picked up my case, quickly put a plan into place and achieved both of my goals within a reasonable time frame. She was professional and helpful at all times, as was everyone else in the practice that I dealt with. I particularly appreciated her judgement on things I could do myself to save costs.

I was a bit anxious about attending Becketts but I have to say my experience was very good. My appointment started promptly and I was happy with the service I received. Due to my appointment being of a matrimonial nature I was quite anxious about attending but the lady I saw was really helpful and I left feeling less stressed and quite positive. She gave me advice generally about my situation and information she needed if I wanted to start proceedings. I felt my money was well spent and I have booked my follow up appointment.

this stage of our family life.
I marvel at how right she was in seeing the bigger picture at our first meeting when I was still bewildered and confused about my circumstances. Her initial analysis identifed some key tactical steps for me to take to best look after the three of us.
Nadia and her team have been sensitive to the natural concerns I had around the two children (9 and 7) while giving sensible practical advice which has helped me to prioritise, to 'swallow some bitter pills' and to see some positives for us.
Nadia is intuitive, clear and a sound strategic thinker who assumes a forward-looking co-operative approach, is willing to allow time for reflection when that's possible, and is willing to use latest legal developments.
I can hardly bear to think about the cost of the elaborate path my ex-husband has forced me to take. Nadia respected my beliefs, including that I should keep my legal costs down, allowed and encouraged me to do what I can myself to progress this case.
I'm sure these things have helped keep me going during this awful period."

Beckett Solicitors represented me in a childcare case. Not having used a solicitor before or had any issues with family reasons I was made to feel calm and confident about what was needed of me and what to expect, good news and bad. This made me very confident in Nadia's ability to achieve the correct outcome for me and my daughter. I was always kept informed of where the case was and what was happening next and when. To add the staff at Beckett Solicitors were always very polite and helpful whenever I had a enquiries whether through a phone call or over e-mail.

Representation in Children's Act proceedings. Service, quality of advice and representation were excellent. I would stress that the 3 stars given in respect of VfM is indicative generally of solicitors. As far as I am aware the rate charged was competitive.

Unfortunately we found this service to be very poor, the receptionist was rude and unhelpful and the solicitor was completly inflexible. Would not reccomend to my worst enemy. The one star is over rated.

i found the ph staff very friendly-Possibly borderline near top best ph staff experience of that type.
[Not as good as when free ph call centre & guess which call centre & where he lived within less than mile from his accent & hadhad a really good laugh]
(Try to make sure if being charged for call- this seems to be true of ALL soliciters-AFTER you are their client/customer )
I m still with them & so cant yet do indended extremely extensive longest review here yet.
Think better at some matters than others (again guess true of ALL soliciters)
