I wished to donate my flat to my nephew. No searches were involved and no monies were changing hands. My solicitor at Conveyancing Direct, Sarah Keeble, was excellent and the 'salesman' Stuart Spray friendly and helpful.The problem lay with the organisation of Conveyancing Direct, with sales people up front and solicitors hidden behind them inevitably, from time to time, treading on each other's toes. If my solicitor had been able to speak direct to my nephew's solicitor from Inception, problems on the way would have been avoided and the whole process completed faster. For this I was charged GBP 876.80
