If you want to be belittled then GLP Prestwich is the place to go.

I have been in the property industry for over 10 years and dealt with a vast number of Solicitors during that time. GLP is, without doubt, the worst company I have used.
My case was being dealt with by Martin Cohen, his approach to me was rude and self righteous. He continually spoke down to me and I also witnessed his staff being treated the same in front of customers. I believe this was due to my age and was that annoyed I put a complaint in - the response I received was shocking to say the least. The MD responded about how my ltd business was 'just 24 months old' and he completely backed up Martin Cohen with his actions - clearly a culture of self-importance and ageism.

I note numerous other customer reviews have been published stating the same about Martin Cohen of GLP (these have been submitted on the 100 Crumpsall Lane, office of GLP on this website - can easily be found via the search box)

I received an email quote from Melissa R at the Prestwich branch a couple of weeks ago as I am looking for a property to buy and to also sell mine. Now I have offers accepted on both I decided to use your company. I spoke to Melissa on 4/7/22 who wasn’t that helpful on the phone if I am honest but assured me she would post all paperwork out to me first class as I want to complete beg Sept.
It is now the 7/7 and still nothing has been received. Post has been today.
Needless to say I have now instructed another solicitor. I did this on the 6/7 (yesterday) and I already have all paperwork through the post. That’s service for you.
I will never recommend GLP.

My experience with GLP solicitors was poor to say the least. Their mistakes proved costly, and as a result I was left to pay fees they had miscalculated. The staff are rude and unhelpful and they were unapologetic for their error. I would urge anybody to stay away.

Disgusting service resulting in an extremely stressful experience.

Please do no use this company. They are rude, unresponsive and unprofessional. They missed information provided by my mortgage company and as a result 24 hours before moving I was hit with huge bill.

I cannot stress enough how stressful they are to deal with. Please look else where
