Very poor service and very serious mistakes made by Hansells during the purchase of our property.
Had Hansells done their job properly and given us the correct advice, as we paid them to do, we would have never purchased the property. We will never use Hansells again nor would we recommend them.

Absolutely disgusting service. My grandads will wasn't dealt with legally & they took over 2 years to deal with it, only because I threatened to sue them after seeking further advice from another firm. We have problems with a property sale with this solicitors too as the estate agent referred us without us knowing it was hansells. House sale nearly fell through because they failed to communicate any information to us from the buyer, we had to chase them every week for information to get them to do their job. It took them from February 2014- August 2014 to complete & 4 weeks after completion they tried to charge us for a survey they hadn't had done which they told us they had asking us to gain access to the property for them to send someone round & tried to charge us a fee for it. After arguing this with them they agreed to reimburse us & take responsibility for it but even now they have sorted it. We are now taking it to the governing body. Two departments just as bad as each other...useless! They shouldn't be allowed to trade as a business!
