To people who are searching reviews and considering to use this solicitor company, please do yourself a favour and look for somewhere else.

This company is just so awful, I wish I never used them. They never replied calls. Every time I called to the reception and asked them to transfer to the solicitor, I always being told that the solicitor was busy on the phone. And they always told me that they will let the solicitor called me back asap, but they never did! Not even once!
And they literally never replied directly to your emails when you asked them for updates. Nicky Cross, my solicitor, every time I sent her email, she either ignored or replied me saying she is currently working on collecting information about my property and will get back to you asap. But guess what? Yes, she never replied again! They were just lying they are working on my case so they can stop me chasing them! Just so irresponsible and disgusting!!!

Within my one year nightmare with them, they changed 4 solicitors for me but never informed me. I need to find out this by myself when I emailed them to ask for updates. This is just so ridiculous! Because of their delay, I need to pay £300 to renew the expired searches and need to pay high rent and bills every month, my life could be much easier if I didn’t use this stupid terrible company. I’d rather wast all my money on them to look for a new company than still waiting and calling and emailing them but being ignored every time by using Jarmans.

Awful. No client care letter. Did nothing requested and left me in the lurch. They owe us £multimillion. Instead misappropriation of 10k and refusing to return my money or to mediate or disclose their insurers email, in breach of the Code. Letter of Claim not responded to, nor complaints procedure followed, and refusing to mediate

Terrible.
Slow
Unresponsive and generally difficult to work with for Conveyancing.

The below is their generic out of office I get from their Solicitor:
"We will not be responding to emails or phone calls requesting updates. We will contact our Clients and provide updates directly. We will update agents as and when we are able to do so. Working together we will achieve more."

Theyre not updating anyone, let alone clients, selling solicitors or other parties.

Can you imagine if any one in a 'normal' job said, sorry I'm a bit busy, I'll let you know eventually... Let alone when it's something life changing like buying a house.

Unacceptable

Avoid.

Worst Solicitors in Kent!



We used Jarmans for the selling & purchasing of our property, wish we never! Absolute nightmare to even speak to them over the phone, you get promised call backs and never get them, you'll spend most your day chasing them up. Some members of staff are extremely rude and up themselves. We asked for a bill of what our remainder was we owed them, still haven't received that to this day. The worst part was completion day, which wasn't until 4pm, but then all moneys exchanged but because it was nearly home time and a friday they all went home without giving us our remaining money from the sale! Thousands! We then couldn't pay our removal company. We was assured by *** that our money would be there the first thing on the monday morning.........which left us needing to ring and ask for it again on the monday at 11am, they didn't care, no apology, no urgency! Absolutely disgusting service! AVOID this company at all costs!

Pain stakinly slow get more bills than progress paid promptly only to receive a rude letter at Christmas time saying if I don’t pay another bill they will no longer represent me, getting a new solicitor as these are useless avoid at all costs only gave 1 star as wouldn’t let me post without it

Would not recommend this Sittingbourne Solicitors , have had an ongoing case which had to stop because solicitor was asking too much money and solicitor was for the other party and not acting for myself was in favour of other party would see that the solicitor was more for the other party rather than wiling to fight for me/us , solicitor kept on asking us to go on line and fil out forms on line it seemed like me/us was to doing all the work and solicior did not seem that interested in acting for me/us

BEWARE. I wish I'd read the reviews about Jarmans before getting involved with them, a decision I now regret. My experience with them suggest they are a dodgy, unprofessional and exploitative firm. The solicitor who acted for my commercial conveyance, Sukhbir Sangra kept putting pressure on me to take on additional services for him to charge me extra for. He made everything seem so complicated so he could justify further additional fees and he frustrated the whole process including the vendor's solicitors and everyone involved. In the end after I said no to his additional services, he declined to stop acting for me on the very day we were to exchange and after he had asked me to transfer the money required for exchange. I had to find another solicitor last minute and it took a week for me to get part of my money back from him. He deducted £5,000 in fees for services he did not provide and I did not agree to. I filed a complaint to the partner, Barry Bond and he just completely ignored all my complaints. Now I am having to go the Legal Ombudsman. AVOID this firm, they are dodgy and should be struck off acting as solicitors. BEWARE

Taken years to process probate. Complaints go unanswered. Promise to get back but never do. Say they want to finalise the Estate but do nothing for months. Would never use again or recommend.

Asked for a complaint form to sublimit to the Law Society. Of course got no reply. After 100 years you would think they would know where the forms are kept. One star is to high for this kettle of misfits

Rather than go by recommendation elsewhere we chose Jarmans because they are local to our project and had a good website. We were fools. No feedback reporting, no progress, no replies to our concerns.....absolutely appalling. We sacked them and went with a recommendation from our auditors after a wasted 6 months. AVOID.

My experience has been terrible and still is. My mother's will was not handled how she wanted it to be. They have ignored me and continue to do so. I have been made to feel intimidated by them. Have complained about them to no avail.
I have no confidence in their actions and will never recommend them to anyone.

sarah a solicitor at jarmans and her partner june yates took over a friends will three and a half years ago when she passed away and the will still hasnt been read and we are talking a lot of money over a million in money and assets sarah has since left jarmons and no one seems to have any answers about the will , its unbelievable , its criminal
