Excellent service from start to finish. Kept up to date at each stage of the conveyancing process, even when we were waiting for documents from the other party before progress could be made. It was nice to know these were being chased on our behalf. Spoke to Hannah and Lisa Brown over the telephone and both are very friendly but professional. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect from start to finish.

Victoria kept us informed all the way through the sale/purchase process and was extremely responsive to any questions we had.

Everything was explained clearly and any issues spotted were dealt with in a timely manner. The fees for the services provided were competitive and clear from the outset ,which made planning cash flow easy. Genuinely could not pick a single fault and could not recommend them enough.

Hannah has to be the best solicitor I have dealt with when selling/buying a home. She kept me regularly updated via e-mail, and always responded to any queries I had. I had contacted your Washington office regarding commencing divorce proceedings on behalf of my cousin, so it seemed appropriate when she wanted to change her will to go with the same firm. Alexis was so kind and considerate with her, who is 84 and has a speech impediment due to strokes. She was very patient with her and she felt secure in talking to her which is important. Alexis was also very helpful to me as her carer. She could not have done anymore to help us.

Victoria was absolutley fantastic for us. We we kept up to date about the progression of our house sale and purchase on just about a weekly basis. Even if there wasnt much to report that particular week we still received an upadate to let us know. Very friendly, approachable and easy to get in touch with.

The sale of my mother's house was recently completed and I must say the service I received from Victoria was excellent. She was approachable and easy to talk to yet professional in her manner which made me feel I could trust her to do a good job. I was kept up to date regularly and any problems were dealt with promptly and efficiently. When she wasn't available Lisa was there to ensure there were no unnecessary delays. They made a stressful situation for me appear uncomplicated and straight forward. I will certainly recommend them.

She was always an advocate for us, always on top of things and chased the rest of the chain without needing prompting from us. Excellent, thorough property conveyancing at a reasonable cost. Charges were broken down & labelled so we knew what exactly each particular charge related to.
The conveyancing itself was thorough and expedited as fast as the process would allow. We’d highly recommend this firm to anyone looking for a property conveyancer able to cut through the crap and handle things professionally and competently. Plus you get a named professional & secretary, not a call centre!

The service I received from Victoria and her team was outstanding. They were professional, friendly, responsive and efficient throughout the whole process. They answered any queries I had (even if they were ridiculous) often within an hour and certainly by the end of the day. Without your positive take on things we could have given up. Alexis stepped in and completed the probate and settlement of my late Fathers estate after the original solicitor from a different company let us down.
Communication and progress with the case was excellent carried out with a caring attitude at all times.
Alexis started on the case at the beginning of the first lockdown which must of made things difficult but was always available to answer queries and progress the case in a timely manner.

We were very impressed by the high level of service with regular communications from Victoria being exceptionally good especially when we heard from the other people in the chain as to the very poor levels of communications they were receiving from their solicitors. We regularly had to advise our buyers, our sellers and our estate agents what was happening as they were clueless at times. We would have no hesitation in recommending Victoria to anyone looking for a good solicitor who would keep them informed and advised at every stage of the process.

We used conveyancing services to sell a property and purchase a new build with Help to Buy. Victoria was very efficient and knowledgeable. We had awful communication issues with my buyers solicitors and Victoria was very proactive in chasing them up. There were also other issues with help to buy that she managed well to help avoid further delays. Victoria and her team emailed us regular updates and were very quick in returning our emails or calls if we had to speak to them. We are very happy with the service received and will definitely recommend the company to others.

Fantastic service from Victoria and the other ladies who assisted us in the office!
We requested the assistance of Victoria just as the country went into lockdown. Although Victoria was working from home at the time of our house sale going through, we felt as though she couldn’t have been more attentive and thorough. We made a comment to family members that Victoria was so efficient and quick in her responses it was as if we were the only people that she was currently dealing with. When you’re purchasing a house for the first time it’s exciting and you want everything to be done quickly , therefore the quick responses were very much appreciated. Also, on the note of being first time buyers, Victoria was very patient with us and explained everything we needed to know, even when we weren’t sure of certain things it was explained to us. We felt very confident in Victorias hands!
I will be sure to recommend John Donkin solicitors to any of my friends who will be purchasing a house in the future.

We were so impressed with Victoria’s handling of the sale of our property, 22 Sheridan Green. We have worked with various lawyers around the world and found Victoria was the most thorough, highly focused on our priorities and extremely professional. We have moved to recommend Victoria to other people in Hong Kong currently having issues with property purchase in the U.K., and also to friends and family members. We will certainly look to work with her again on our U.K. property interests going forward.

Having used donkin for a divorce (Washington office) I was very impressed they gave me a fixed fee and stuck to it , so I have used them again for a conveyencing matter after a very difficult and frustrating at time purchase due to other solicitors Hannah kept me informed at every point and had everything ready to go on time .

Hannah, was so efficient and worked so hard and managed to secure completion on my new home ,. It could be argued against all odds as the sellers solicitors were very slow throughout the whole process.
Hannah kept me informed throughout and offered reassurances and kindness at all times. She was amazing. Thank you Hannah... Would highly recommend.

Hannah and her secretary Lisa were amazing, they made the journey of buying and reaching completion of my new home a pleasure. Hannah was meticulous and ensured the sellers solicitor completed all relevant information.which was challenging! Whilst keeping me updated regularly with the process and reassuring me along the way. I can’t thank or recommend them enough . The only downside I will miss there Cheerful and kind voices now we have reached the end of the journey.

Cheapest quote I had, initially given conflicting advice re stamp duty however I received a clarification phone call and this was before I even confirmed the case, so I was impressed by the attention to detail. Victoria was very prompt in responding to any queries I had and highlighted many areas for clarification that I would not have picked up. When I visited the office to drop documents off all the staff were pleasant and helpful. Very pleased with the service.

When dealing with Donkin's I found them helpful and professional and every step. It has been some time since I was on the property market and I found they took time with me and explained the process in a very open way. I found all queries, and I had a few, were dealt with quickly and I felt that they genuinely had my best interests in mind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We’ve just completed some conveyancing work with John Donkin & Co. Everything for our sale and purchase has been managed with excellent communication, clear and pragmatic advice, and in accordance with our timescales.
