Terrible company ! Wasted 3 months of my time in relation to a hearing loss claim, started of with a real solicitor then got bumped down to a trainee solicitor who was clueless and didn’t advise me or guide me through the claim and I’m pretty sure that as soon as they saw who they where up against in terms of the claim they bottled it and dropped my case.

Very average service , spent best part of 2 hours on the phone regarding my potential case, didn't even bother to ring me back to inform me whether or not they would take the case on. avoid at all costs amateurish outfit

After being contacted (cold called/ border line Harrassed) by their "client care" team around 2 years ago, I decided to give in and sign up to them so that I would receive some compensation for my hearing loss.
Now I had not even considered that my hearing loss was due to my past employment, but their "client care" (salesman) did unfortunately convince me that it was.
He couldn't give me exact numbers to what I would receive but he was adamant it would be a substantial amount and led me to believe they had got other clients an average of £7000 for what they called NIHL which was what I had apparently.
After this initial contact, I was then palmed off to their "solicitors" who I can honestly say we're more then unhelpful. Correspondence from Roberts jacksons was very poor, expect for thier initial letter which they sent out straight away which I had to sign.
I would have to ring up and chase the "solicitor" who was dealing with my case to be told most of the time that they were looking into my case and waiting for something or another. They did however contact me for more information about my past employment which I had already provided them twice before as I do believe they had lost it somehow.
Towards the end of my Roberts Jackson journey, I was contacted by them to be informed they had received an offer for me, great I thought, then I heard the amount....... £1400. Surely that is too low I argued with my effort of a solicitor, to Which she responded rather uninterested that I should take it and it's the best they would be able to do.
A long way short from the initial £7000 I had been told at the start. Reluctantly as I positioned myself over the proverbial barrel, knees bent I accepted.
After doing some of my own research, which admittedly I should have done at the start I do honestly believe I should have got more and my case was under settled.
I would not recommend Roberts Jackson solicitors and I am truly baffled as to how they have so many positive reviews? Maybe I really did get unlucky? I highly doubt it though.

After central claims initially lost all my paperwork after a year, i was reassessed and had a second hearing test and was told i had a very good claim for industrial hearing loss, my case was taken on by roberts jackson solicitors, Well after approx 4 years with very little contact from infact i would only find out any information when i contacted them each time she just happened to be reviewing my case or just had something back that same day (whatever) well after approx 4 years of this i finally contacted her to which she told me the barrister had given negative advice against my claim and that she would be closing my file.I had also moved home in that time and tried to change my address with her and one of the roberts jackson secretaries but still the final letter went to my old address, Its not about the money i wasn't expecting much if any at all, its having this hanging over you for this length of time and bickering with ex employers who i still see from time to time in the street about the noise and machinery locations and then we are just closing your file.This should have been sorted in less than half the time but it was on a no win no fee basis so nothing lost nothing gained.i would not recommend them or be personally using them for any future help or advice.
