Having read some reviews on this site I was initially cautious about using Shoosmiths. However my estate agent reassured me that he had worked well with the firm and I went ahead.
I did not regret it for a moment, despite the current restrictions and delays with searches, the whole process from accepting an offer to completion took a little over 3 months. Selling a house is always going to throw up stressful moments but the prompt responses to emails and support in following up when needed made the whole process run smoothly. I will definitely recommend Shoosmiths to anyone.

When Shoosmiths (Northampton) recently acted for us in the purchase of a property we were often so relieved that we chose them as our conveyancers. Such a different experience than our previous house purchasers - and from others in our chain! Sam Maloney, who worked on our file at all times was thoroughly professional, friendly, efficient - and caring; always taking the time to explain, discuss, and clarify points along the way.
Always proactive she many times went the extra mile in holding others (in what has been an extremely problematic chain) to account. In fact it often felt as if she in willing collaboration with our purchase agent, was the only professional who kept things moving along. Others in the Shoosmith team were always on the ball and able to help if we called on the rare occasion that Sam was out of the office.
Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to Sam Maloney and her team leader Fraser Shuba for their exemplary service! We have already recommended you to a family member.

Brilliant service that simply does not align with those reviews of a critical nature below.

This is the second time that I have used Shoosmiths in 18 months and I could not have asked for better. The use of a “Case Handler” as a point of contact meant that e-mails were answered promptly and, when telephone calls were needed, I was normally able to contact her straight away or the call answered and my call returned promptly. Contact was always polite, cheerful, knowledgeable and, above all, calm. Indeed, I was kept so well informed, that it almost appeared as if I was the only client she was dealing with.

Excellent service and good value for money with the added bonus of “no sale, no fee” guarantee. I could not have been more satisfied.

Highly recommended. Thank you Shoosmiths.

Working in Sales Progression I work with a number of solicitors on a daily basis and I can highly recommend Samantha Maloney at Shoosmiths, she is efficient, proactive and very organised but she also has something some solicitors don't have, she is approachable and cares about her clients as people. For me, she keeps me updated regularly which makes my job easier and helps me to give a good service to our buyers & sellers too.
