Really bad. Never reply and don’t inform you.
Complaints are dealt with the same way and had to chase the complaints department several times for a reply. They gave me a new case worker a couple of times and I think a few of them left the company.
They are just looking after themselves and have no care for you as a customer at all!
They write they can’t give you advice on whether to take the offer and ask you to call them. When you call them, they tell you to take the offer!
They didn’t send my examinations results to the other solicitors/insurance company in time. Delayed things and then tried to charge me for stuff that I had paid for myself!
Useless in every sense.

I have been awaiting my ownership documents since Feb 2020 (now May 2021) and cannot ever get through to anyone. Any email contacts Im given are found to have left the business (this has happened 5 times). I cannot get through to anyone, no-one will respond. Ive not been able to submit urgent planning permission because of this.

Awful customer service made it incredibly hard to get thru to anyone. Completely mislead over what they charge etc in the end they ended up taking nearly 70% of the claim pay out honestly fee like I would have been better off handling it myself would very strongly recommend against using this company

The service I received has been appauling. They take around 4-5 weeks to respond to basic emails and questions. They also didn't respond to the vendors solicitors questions.

I like paying 3 times the orignal quoted amount whilst also having to manage your own case then they're the law firm for you.

I implore anyone thinking of using them to go elsewhere!!

My case with Slater & Gordon was marred by delays, inaccurate record-keeping, high staff turnover and a shocking level of either disinterest or flat-out incompetence. I was a client of SG for about six months during 2017 and during this time I had to explain my case to four different solicitors, who apparently had no awareness of any previous interaction - but were happy to keep billing me for the time I spent briefing them on the case. The delays led to escalation of my case, which nearly ended up in Court as a result of their incompetence. Once I transferred the case to another solicitor, it was swiftly resolved within 2 weeks (and no further handovers!). After the case was concluded, I complained to their customer service department (another three people have left the firm since they started processing my complaint!) and they offered me a "reduced" payment of nearly 1.5 times my bill! I then asked them to produced a detailed breakdown of activities carried out, which I am entitled to under the Data Protection Act - and they simply ignored it!

A Kafkaesque nightmare so absurd it would border on comical if it wasn't because the very real cost of their lack of professionalism.
