We were appalled by the service we received. Dealing with Bell Lamb & Joynson led to no end of stress for us. They fell on the first hurdle when our case wasn't even set up for over a week. After that all of our calls were either ignored or not very productive. At least 20 times we were told we'd receive a call back, but we didn't receive one. It took over 3 months to get the keys for our new home. 3 completion dates later we finally got them all down to the wire on the final day. We did raise a complaint but they had the audacity to tell us that everything was dealt with timely and everything dealt with appropriately. The first time we raised a complaint following the online procedure we were told not to email the email address stated and rather email someone direct. Which then took 2 weeks for what he deemed a resolution, which was nothing.

Impossible to get through to them even if you want to pay an invoice. You will get a five minute advert on how good they are and then an detailed summary of their complete portfolio and then some bleeps........
I hope I don't have to contact them too often.

The charges were quite low but the service apart from the receptionist was terrible. My case was under locums, stand ins or whoever. I was given a definite date to move by the solicitor who ended up over my case and 3 others before her so we cancelled a holiday and gave our notice in on our temporary renting only to then be told the week before we were to complete there were several queries not answered. The most terrible house buy I have ever made and it was simply because of this solicitor. Steer clear!
