They just want as many cases as they can take and an easy time of it. If something strays away from a familiar path they won't bother to get involved or act as you expect a solicitor to act. I assumed I was paying for them to represent our best interests in the sale of our property but they just want the job and nothing more. 10 months after the sale I am still chasing up money owed to us because they have refused to pick up the phone to me or respond to my numerous emails. Now they are trying to wash their hands of the matter because it is obviously too much for them to try handle even though this loss of money is due to their negligence. Don't bother with them - you can find someone else you can actually trust to represent you and keep your best interests in mind.
