Absolutely shocking, horrendously unpleasant experience. Nearly six months to sell a two bedroom flat. Our post was sent to the incorrect address. We received other people's private Mail. Actually argued with the solicitor on a couple of occasions. I felt I was being verbally bullied each time I spoke to the solicitor concerned.The solicitor effectively called me a lier. When I said I had received some else's letter even though I was holding it in my hand at the time. Eventually I avoided actually speaking to the solicitor because he was so unpleasant. I asked for everything in writing, I felt it was the only way to prevent untruths. Threatened to cancel the sale after waiting so long I really had had enough, which finally got things moving a little faster. Had to send the same documents numerous times because either the solicitor was loosing them or just too lazy to look in the file. It appeared, the solicitor was continually looking for ways to make extra charges. Never never again with this firm.
