I used their services for a straightforward Remortgage. In a word I ‘trusted’ them. What a mistake it has cost us thousands & I mean thousands of pounds and many hours of worry and sleepless nights. We are taking action against this firm to recover our money. I assumed Solicitor meant they were acting on our behalf. We should have walked away when we saw open files strewn around their Lancing Offices. Admitting they have made a mistake is not in their DNA. Take my advice find another firm of Solicitors. It’s the first time I’ve not used our usual Brighton Solicitors. I expected the same level of communication and service. How wrong could I have been!!! Their attitude rather than ‘put their hand up’ has been one of maximum delay and it’s the Clients fault. Don’t believe for one minute this firm is in your ‘corner’. It is not the behaviour you would expect from a firm of Solicitors. To busy, poor client communication and attention to detail are the headline problems! The fee charged in the circumstances was a complete waste of money.
