Don't use this firm! I had dealings with this firm for probate of a relative and my experience with them made an already sad & traumatic time even worse. The cost was huge and the service, in my opinion bad, it took almost eleven months to complete the process even though there was no property to sell. The person dealing with the probate showed no understanding or empathy even though probate was meant to be her 'speciality'. When I wrote a letter of complaint it took almost 6 months for them to respond. Do yourself a favour, go anywhere but here.

Divorce

Incredibly poor service. I only wanted advice before filing for divorce and had the initial meeting and was told my queries would be answered as a follow up. I rang for weeks and weeks to speak to Carol and had no reply to my calls and also when I rang and she was in the office she was unavailable. Unsure how they would even begin to deal with filing a divorce as there is no care or time when asking and paying for advice. Am saddened as she was great in the meeting but the follow up was appalling. Never going back! One star is generous!

Would not recommend this firm at all!! Absolutely shocking!!!
Poor Communication. Not replying to emails or phone calls!
Receptionist and Solicitors very rude and unhelpful!!!
Made a complaint with the service I have received! Partner Karen Du Rocher could could not give you the time of day to try and rectify the complaint in positive way!
Senior Partner Jasvinder Singh Gill also adopted the same approach!
Very unprofessional and rude firm!

I booked an appointment to find out my position in my and my husband's joint company as I was denied access to certain documents, but instead the emphasis the whole time was made on divorce, which I was not seeking. When I was sent a summing up statement (nearly three months later), the title given was 'Re: Divorce' and all the information was only what I'd told her - and much of that inaccurate - and I was none the wiser as to my position in the company. Very poor service and the female solicitor seemed to have her own anti male agenda.

We had Kimberlee Smith as our solicitor during our recent house purchase. She was fantastic; always gave fast replies and kept us up to date with everything. She was thorough and very approachable. I would recommend any time.

Service in dealing with personal and care issues of friend with Alzheimers was good. Poor service in respect of finalisation of Will. Delay in payment of legacies to beneficiaries. Phone messages not passed on by telephonists; promises made that matters would be finalised soon but months went by. Accounting tasks passed to junior member of staff who went sick. Finally resolved after formal complaint made. Cannot recommend Hatten Wyatt for Wills & Probate.

Appalling customer service during enquiry about wills and probate. Unhelpful reception, unanswered emails and always want money up front before offering any service or answering enquiries. Would avoid like plague.
