Excellent service from Healy's for purchasing two properties and a lease extension. They pay attention to the necessary details. Extremely professional. We have worked with Lauren and Daniel - both excellent. Would always recommend the firm.

Not sure where to start really, after 2 years and many thousands of pounds just trying to kick off some litigation Healys have proven to be the biggest waste of time and money out of the dozen or so solicitors I have used for various business litigation.
After waiting weeks or months for replies to emails from DB, asking why I continue to be billed without showing me what was being done I pulled the plug.
The first email response was to tell me I still owed them money, but they will not send me the invoice or tell me what they did but insist that I pay them or they will hold my files hostage.
After over 2 months they refused my official request for my personal information, so I have reported them to the ICO.
After wasting another 2 months going back and forth with the owner JH, I am no further along and am now spending my time filling in online reviews in the hopes that anyone else looking to use their services avoids them as they are unethical and will bill you whatever they want whenever they want and look down their noses at you when you question anything they do.
Look elsewhere, plenty of firms with better communication and billing practices.

After 2 years of endless charges and nothing to show for these charges I have give up and taken my business to another firm.
D B talks a good game, very knowledgeable but his actions are extremely lacking and his estimates seriously wrong.
I would have to email repeatedly for an update, the staff in the office do not reply. The only time I get a reply is when I question costs, then you have his full attention.
With an estimate of £10k to get things moving with all parties we have made no progress. After nearly £14k in charges which I have struggled to pay due to ongoing illness I would have expected that all parties have been engaged but alas, nothing but charges for nothing.
I will be filing a complaint against your firm, I expected more from you.
I am now stating again with my other solicitor
You firm owes me £800 refund in fees but you insist I owe you £1200 but refuse to show what work was done. You threaten me with a lien on my file and debt collection on your imaginary balance.
Your should be ashamed of your actions, I hope this review tells potential clients what your firm is truly like to deal with.

I was told that the process of buying your first house is stressful but Healys made it easy. Charlotte provided me with regular updates and I never felt the need to follow up requesting outstanding information. Charlotte acted efficiently and professionally throughout, being very thorough and meticulous. The invoice was in line with the quote provided before entering the process. Very pleased with the overall service.

Excellent level of service provided throughout two matters that we instructed Heals on. Very professional, excellent availability, and good guidance provided. I have found this firm of solicitors to be rude, very bad at communicating and unprofessional on several occasions. There are lots of great family law firms in Brighton. This, in my opinion, is not one of them.

I cannot thank Daniela Catuara enough for her efforts on my behalf over the past year or so. My Partner had used the services of Nicholas Taylor a few years ago and was very pleased with Healys' service, which is why I approached them.
I came to Daniela early in 2010 with a dispute that had lasted for about 3 years, first as an LVT action against a leaseholder and then as a professional negligence claim against two separate firms of surveyors who had acted for me. At that time I had a strong sense of being let down by professional firms and this included another firm of lawyers whose service left a lot to be desired. The thing that struck me about Daniela from the outset was the speed with which she dealt with communications. In 40 odd years experience of dealing with solicitors I have never met anyone else so quick and efficient. In dealing with the solicitors on the other side she was always like a dog with a bone, never giving them any peace, and constantly harrying them until she got an answer.
Allied to this speed of action, was her sound advice both legal and commercial. As the case progressed I became more and more confident that I might eventually obtain justice and recover some of the money that I had lost. When I was offered by Healys a no win no fee agreement that was a great relief because for me it was the end of writing out cheques without knowing the outcome. In the end my case never came to Court, as it was settled with the good offices of a mediator all of which was organized by Daniela, and I walked away with a better settlement than I had ever expected.
Thank you Daniela, for all your hard work, your understanding, your effort and determination on my behalf and finally for orchestrating a real victory. You have also restored my faith that the law and justice can come together”
