I was quoted £600 for a simple no chain house purchase and to date it is £1200 plus VAT and they are trying to get about £200 more and still going. Feel like I have to agree to keep it going forward. 5 months down the line, its still no where near complete. Once done, if I'm still alive by then, I am sending my bill to the SRA to check that it was all necessary as I feel I'm being ripped off. To make matters worse, the vendors solicitors are just as useless.

Check and confirm ID , half an hour work maximum asking for £480.
Ask before their cost; one of the more expensive solicitor I have seen

Sadly my experience with this company was poor, less than communicative and sadly lacking. I felt that the legal department were not sympathetic to a clients needs.
Personally I wouldn’t use them again or recommend them. I feel there are more customer services motivated firms in the market.

i believe the head one dealing with my case was peter kaye.manchester.i dont think he had my best interest at heart.getting money back from a con man.i had to get a judgement so i could go further getting the money paid back.i had to push so it was like me doing what i thought was right as it seemed very slow in them doing this and i needed it fast.it cost me 11.000 pounds all in total ,said it would cost 16.000pounds if went on.the judge when i got judgement against conman said it seems a hell of amount of money.in his words.i dont use these solicitors any more..i felt i was the one with the better plan.i regret using this firm.the only part that was worth the money was the filling out of the form and adding up correct amounts .i could of done other myself i believe.

2 months to respond to simple emails, do not take personal injury matters seriously, and offer belittling information

This company doesn't update you on the progress of you case properly. If something goes wrong they try & blame someone who is not to blame. Lies are told constantly. Please go elsewhere as this company already are known to SRA & been taken over by metomorph law.

Did conveyancing for a block of flats that we built and made some pretty poor mistakes, including confusing plot and postal numbers. Caused a big mess.
