I have worked with Madge Lloyd and Gibson a couple of times and the service and knowledge of their solicitors has been excellent

Unfortunately we can rate this solicitor with only one star and would NOT recommend due to the fact that they did not communicate properly with us and made decisions on our behalf that ended up with us having to move out of our home a week before we wanted to as the solicitor set a completion date with no reference to ourselves. We immediately complained to the solicitor about this but were told it was too late to change the completion date as they (the solicitor) had already agreed it with the purchasers' solicitor. Unforgiveable and cost us a lot of money and stress. This solicitor also sent private and personal letter to the wrong address! How sloppy and unprofessional.

Really awful experience. These conveyancers are slow, terrible at communicating and they are very unprofessional. They do nothing for months on end and then at the last minute, they fire off mountains of paperwork which end up irritating everyone in the chain and causing unbelievable delays, stress and hardship for everyone concerned. They don't give a damn about clients or people. Your house move will be a nightmare if you use them. In fact, if you are selling or buying from anyone who is instructing these people: Do yourself a favour and accept another offer. Trust me, you will be better off that way.
