Service was fine although I finished up having to deal with 3 different people dealing with my case, as they kept leaving. All three people were however, very professional and helpful and explained things in detail upon request. I would be happy to recommend them.

I had a non fault accident where someone reversed into me at some traffic lights. My insurance company wanted £100 excess from me even though I was stationary and the accident clearly wasn’t my fault.
I was put in touch with minster law and a legal advisor called Curtis Patterson , Curtis kept me informed every step of the way by e mail , without me contacting him first , and he got my excess payment back.
I was exceptionally happy with the service I got from Curtis and he deserves the five stars I have given him in this review.

Charlotte Ellison on behalf of of MInster Law Solicitors processed a personal injury claim after a motorcycle accident. A very professional service and a very friendly nature. All my stupid questions was answered and i always felt like they had my interests in mind.
I was very pleased with the service and although it was free it would of been a service i would of paid to have.
Many thanks to Charlotte and the team at MInster Law Solicitors.

Minster Law was absolutely fantastic! I was lucky enough for my case to be given to Luke Howard, and from start to finish his care and attention was second to none. He was polite, efficient, knowledgeable, non judgemental, and his advice was always effective and in my best interests. I received extremely prompt replies to my questions (usually within about 20 minutes of sending them by email!). I don't know how I managed to get such an amazing solicitor on a no-win-no-fee basis, but he really was exactly that - amazing. I'd also mention that his assistant, Laura Rowan, was also incredibly helpful, and really made me feel like I was the only person whose case they were working on, which of course, I wouldn't have been! So, well done guys, just fantastic! My apologies that it has taken a few months from case completion to writing this, but I have been so busy with new opportunities and doors opened by the outcome of the case!!! Thanks again folks, you made things so easy for me, I'd recommend you guys every single time!

No contact for months on end. Went through 4 different case workers over 4 years. When court was due they said chances of winning had dropped for no reason and to go to court I would have to pay council fee s of 1050 per day. I picked the worst company to represent me and I would not recommend them to anyone. I eventually lost the will to continue and discontinued my case even though I know I would have won. Save yourselves hassle and amateur s and look elsewhere.

I had a car accident in December 2016, the driver admitted full fault however we went through a disagreement over personal injury compensation, this has amounted to court proceedings. However I have had to contact them on multiple occasions having gone months without any information or update. The other party were given 28 days to respond to the court proceedings....this was over 3 months ago and I have not heard anything. You are not kept up to date. And not only this but I get the feeling these guys are not on my side at all. Unfortunately I had no choice to use them due to my insurer. But I am utterly disgraced by their service. If you have a choice avoid this company. I will be making a formal complaint to them and my insurance company. Disgraceful company.

I agree with the majority of dissatisfied customers, I started my case in December 2016 after an RTC which the other driver admitted full responsibility in writing within a week and the compensation sum was agreed within a couple of months so it could not be a more straight forward case. No one ever responds to my numerous E Mails however I did get a reply in September asking for information that I had already sent previously in April - brilliant !!!

You cannot contact them by phone as no one answers it no matter how long you leave it to ring, you can track your case on their web site but surprisingly no one has been in contact to give me the details and password to log on so a complete waste of time

Absolutely shocking customer service and would not recommend anyone using them, I am not one for complaining or writing bad reviews but in this case I do not know what else to do and maybe I might get a response from this review but I will not hold my breath

My accident happened 3 years ago and taken a while to sort it out and I agree with some of the review's i have read on the internet they did seem to have a problem with
Communicating at FRIST and my case was passed on a few times. But then Amy and Sanjay was put on the case
And thing's started to move. And yes I could go a while
Before having a e-mail or a phone call.
But when ever I rang Sanjay or Amy was there. To bring me up to speed so I'm happy all sorted now. I wouldn't have a problem with Amy and Sanjay handily any over problems I may have hopefully i will never have to use them again. So many thanks to Amy and Sanjay.

I’ve refrained from leaving feedback to date, I guess we thought things would get better at every hurdle but it hasn’t, it’s got worse!

Our accident happened Jan 2016. And like so many people leaving feedback this company has NO communication skills whatsoever. We’ve had so many case holders now we can count them on both hands. If you send an email you then have to chase 1-2-3 weeks later. If you call you rarely get to speak to your case holder. If you leave a message you have to call back everyday until you can actually speak to your case holder as messages seem to go missing. If you do call and get through you get told very little or they don’t know where the case is at. Oh, and the lies... our previous call handler told us the biggest load of rubbish- this seems common again with Minster Law. In fact our new case handler told us that the previous case handler had done nothing that she had actually told us.

Oh and case holders going walkies... yep, our (485,000th)case holder upped and left without telling us anything! Not even a call or letter from the company to inform us! Nothing.

It’s a joke, what does it take for you to get your act together? Our case has been set back by many, many weeks/months and nothing is being done. Our new case holder, who was someone that picked up the phone one day after not hearing anything for weeks during a waiting period, said she would contact me last week... nothing... called yesterday, (my case holder wasn’t available, surprise surprise) I was told paper work was sent last week. Guess what... It’s Wednesday and no paper work? I’m sure we won’t even receive anything. Basically, if you don’t contact them you will never hear from them.

We have very little faith in our case ever being concluded successfully. And we feel very let down, so much so that we will be making a full complaint and seeking advice from the relevant companies in due course. Would love to know your success rates? The bad reviews about communication speak for themselves, there are bad reviews all over the internet.

If you are considering using this company... DON’T!!!

Oh and minster Law... the fake reviews are so hilarious. Love that you put a member of staff’s name on every one 😂

The worst law people I have come across. It is over a year since I had the accident. I did all the leg work and yet Ms Khan couldn't come to a conclusion. If you call there is no one to answer the call and I have waited 10 minutes at a time with no success costing me money. How can they be allowed to run a business is beyond me. AND then there are lies - I was told the insurance Company had paid the money into my Bank account but when I said that I had not received she said "Oh did you not I will chase this for you" that was 3 months ago. Following that NOTHING. I tried calling No one to answer the call. Dreadful Service. I would have given the Company a minus 100 if I could. I would NOT RECOMMEND EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY..Arggggg FT/JKH/61676M

Dreadful service. Had no communication from them until I got in touch, by email, three months after the car accident.
I was then sent the medical report which they claimed had 'just' arrived by post. I have since received a copy dated three weeks after the accident, seems it took eight weeks to get to them!!
I then received a text telling me my physio treatment had been cancelled. I telephoned Minster Law and was informed that my case was closed as the damage to my car was minor and I therefore couldn't have a whiplash injury!! Complete joke.

If the settlement was before she was 18, the money is held in trust by the Court. You and her need to contact the Court and ask them what you need to do to access her settlement.

How bad a company? Shockingly bad. Please, please look else where. Lloyds passed me on to these clowns. I wish I had the opportunity to research, but lloyds passed the call through.

They never ever answer the phone. If they do the person you want is always away. On one call a person gave me 4 excuses in a row why the person I needed was not there. But they are never there, Ever! They have lied, deceived and are useless. I have since complained twice, only for the complaints department to clearly deny anything had happened and try to sweeten it over. So I have now gone to the correct authorities and procedures and I hope to be able to highlight to people the distrusting practises these guys do. I hope they get shut down.

By the way I eventually got my money. Doesn't mean I'm not going to purse to the complaints to the authorities.

I still cannot believe some reviews have gained 5stars? It's not hard to get reviews written by friends or colleagues on false accounts.

Five years after my accident I finally received compensation for my injuries thanks to my case handlers at Minster Law (recommended by my House Insurers). Roy Parmer and Craig Croft- Rayner, both worked hard to secure payment from the Defendant after a long and difficult case where the defendant tried their best to avoid paying out. Roy handled my case for the first 3 years and was very professional and helpful, always ready to explain any queries I had. Craig took my case over due to the high costs involved and despite the Defendant trying to wriggle out of paying compensation he remained positive, calm, professional and was approachable which helped keep my spirits up when I despaired of ever obtaining a settlement.

I was kept up to date at least once a month on my case progress, by phone, e-mail and letter and I could contact them at any time when I had a query or needed clarification of legal jargon and procedures. They or a member of their team would always speak to me. If they were not available when I rang they always rang me back. I can’t fault the excellent service I received and I would definitely recommend Minster Law.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company should not be allowed to operate they are a total disgrace to the legal profession.

I was in a car accident in Aug 2014. Third party admitted liability right from the start (was pretty obvious and police were involved. I was stationary and they hit me doing 50-60 mph!) yet it has taken three years to get an offer for personal injury to my shoulder (which will ultimately need surgery but I can't afford the time off work) and the ongoing nightmares, anxiety and flashbacks. I have been chasing a final sum and to close the case for months as I want this over with so I can move on, but I haven't received a response and no one answers the phone number they gave me.

I've just been called by yet another new person handling the case, who told me the offer came in November 2016 but no one bothered to tell me. Now apparently they are deducting £1000 as I received an interim payment. I NEVER received this payment. The lady on the phone even admitted that they had no record of receiving it, so how do they suppose I got it???

Avoid these amateurs at all costs.

We would like to thank this firm and especially Sheila Hetherington who has successfully recovered some money which we honestly thought we would not get. We were kept informed regularly as to progress and informed that this claim may not be successful. However she has worked on our behalf and we now have the money in our bank account. Thankyou once again. this was a stressful time after the car accident and you have made things much easier.

I had a terrible car accident where I suffered some neck and shoulder pain but the Defendants were denying fault. As a lawyer for over 5 years myself I was hesitant as to whom I should instruct to act on my behalf. After some careful research I found Minster Law as the most customer renowned law firm.

After a years journey with Minster Law, wherein the Defendant Solicitors and Insurers denied liability they managed to resolve my claim in full and get me my compensation.

I have to thank Minster Law and in particular Lewis Calvert and Matthew Midgeley for their diligent work and always keeping me updated. The investigative work Mr Calvert did on the Defendants and their witnesses played a fundamental part in overturning liability and even as an experienced lawyer I must commend his tactical and meticulous approach.

Many thanks and I will definitely be referring my friends and colleagues.

This is a terrible company. I was sent to them from my insurers and accepted this as I thought I had no choice. Don't make the same mistake. Certainly don't choose them yourself.

My straightforward traffic injury case has taken so far 14 months and there have been constant long silences. I have had no fewer than five people 'handling' my case, am not getting anywhere near what the original claim was for (the sum they suggested, not me!) and I have been given very little advice and help.

Not worth bothering with, I'm afraid, unless you have a decade or so to spare . . . .

Through no fault of his own, my father was involved in a serious motorcycle accident at the beginning of March 2017. We were referred to Minster law through my fathers insurance company. Craig Croft-Rayner has been dealing with the case & has been truly amazing from the very beginning. It has been most comforting knowing that my father has been in good hands, I cant thank him enough. A few months on and it looks like the case will be settled within weeks, with my father accepting the settlement. I would highly recommend this solicitors firm to others. The rates are very reasonable.

I strongly recommend you do not use this company! After 2 years after gathering all of my evidence, I discovered my claim with the MIB had failed due to not providing evidence of the paintwork done to my car. Minster law suggest I appeal as they stated the MIB never asked for this evidence in the first place but I know they did and I sent it off to Minster Law as I photographed everything. So, after regathering evidence which Minster Law had misplaced, after a further year of no contact or response to my emails, I was eventually told the MIB had made an offer but Minster Law had failed to notify me. Due to this, the 30 day period when I could decide whether to accept or appeal the offer had lapsed and the MIB had taken this to mean I accepted the offer. Minster law then went on to take the maximum Conditional Fee Agreement of 25% of my compensation which I don't think they deserve due to their negligence. I mentioned this and was told it was non negotiable. I will spread the word to avoid this company as they do not provide the basic services when handling your claim and are very difficult to contact!!

3 years down the drain, 7 different lawyers, most left the firm. They use medical experts who are incompetent and lack any basic knowledge of the conditions of whiplash, who possibly collude with them to deprive you of your claims.

If you ask for a change of medical experts, they hit you with financial deductions from your claim amounting to over £600.

Our Solicitor has changed a number of times and we were never informed or given updates on our claim. We phone now on a weekly basis for an update and it's so frustrating, as for the past 2 months they have been doing the same thing, which I find hard to believe .They had supposedly set up a group of solicitors to handle the claim a lot quicker. They have sent me to have about 5 of the same medical tests just with different specialists. A year and half after my claim started they then decided I needed treatment on my scar, they said they didn't realise how bad it was as they lost the photos they received at the beginning. They are absolutely disgraceful. Wouldn't recommend to anybody!

TO ADD ON FROM ABOVE-
All those medical tests are exactly the same, same questions asked, same write ups. I keep being sent medical letters from premix to send back asking dates of doctors appointments ect, it was 3 years ago nearly of course I can't remember that, also I have already sent about 8 of those of, refusing to do any more! Also can I just add before anyone says this is normal for a RTA claim..it is not! My friends that were with me (we were all passengers) have had they're money ages ago, they haven't had to had half of the tests like I have, and also they have spoken to their solicitors face to face, where I have not! Fuming is not the word, minister law give you the worst experience ever and don't make you feel better like they should.

Same thing here , took them 10 months to arrange for me to see a shoulder doctor. Tried to be fobbed off in seeing psychiatrist again . When he said he had no reason in seeing me again. Was told once they had my medical report's back , they can start valuing my claim there and then . Now been told they got to send all my medical reports to other side and see if there in process of settlement . I've told them I don't need to go to any other medicals, they got everything now . Was told they only sent photo evidence of my scars over to third party and haven't sent any other information over yet . I'M SURE THIS COMPANY IS FRIGHTENED AND SCARED OF SENDING INFORMATION OFF AND CORRESPONDING WITH OTHER THIRD PARTY INSURANCE . Phoned passed few weeks and my solicitor is busy and was told by someone else , who seemed nervous . They got to ask other side insurers to agree settlement. OH OH WE GOT TO ASK IN STUDDERING MANNER . Haven't my solicitor got to come to a value before making any offer of settlement to other side first . It's seems like there fobbing me off and dragging it on and on for somega reason

I had to complain about abusive rude staff calling me at home and shouting at me and the complaints department agreed they would compensate me £200.00 because after 3 years my claim is still nowhere near settled but I have never had this and the problem is that staff turnover is very bad also with claims handlers leaving left right and centre so all your information gets lost and then inexperienced call handlers shout out you when you make and enquiry.
I have now complained to the legal ombudsman and suggest that the other 89 unhappy people on here do the same.

I've done that and Ombundsman will do nothing. They say they can not judge their legal decisions. All they've made was MinsterLaw offered me 200 pounds for THREE years of doing nothing, and damaging badly my obvious to win claim (I was a victim of an accident) by cooperating with fraudulent 'medical specialist' that concluded after three years that all my problems I suffer due to accident I've had before, I just didn't know about them!!! This is a big scam of insurers, MinsterLaw and fraudulent medical specialist working together to make any claim worth nothing. This is not my suspicion, this is the fact. I have just come to the end of over three and half years of a nightmare dealing with this disgusting company who call themselves solicitors. The inefficiency and lies were beyond belief.
I truly cannot believe that Minster Law can still be practising, the whole experience nearly gave me a nervous breakdown. You really need nerves of steel to see your case through to the end, unfortunately and particularly after an accident people are at their most vulnerable and this company do not give a Damn. They lie through their teeth, so much so that they contradict themselves continually treating the client as a complete idiot.
My experiences with Minster Law have wasted so much of my time and I will not waste any more by going into them in detail. Suffice it to say that after over three years my case finally went to court. I had to call my so called solicitor countless times to even find out what the outcome was. I then had to call nearly everyday for weeks to find out why I had not received the money that the court had awarded me, only to find out eventually that my file handler at the time (one of many) had wrongly decided that the amount received from the third party was not right, and had returned MY MONEY to them.
If this abominable practice were not so frustrating it would be laughable, at one stage I even had to phone to complain about the complaints department.
SOMETHING REALLY SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT THIS AWFUL COMPANY.

Absolutely appalling company. Constantly having to chase up, excuse after excuse always the medical agency fault the medical experts fault hospital haven't sent notes yada yada. On my 4 th case handler in 14 months, clearly staff can't stand company either. Been waiting 4 months for physio ! Perhaps they think I'll grow a new limb instead !!!!! Don't put up with, vote with your feet, may cost u more but in long run your claim may be settled this millennium . I believe the pg tips monkeys are between jobs, they could get a better settlement. Should be an option to vote minus 5. The RAC and others should be ashamed of themselves for foisting these incompetents on their customers.Minster Law ha! Monster Low would be more appropriate!

my claim started 3 years ago and has been passed from pillar to post I have had around 6 people look into my claim as I had to have a lot of different appointments due to injury and PTSD and today 27-06-2016 Alex Lucas has closed my case with an amazing out come. he has been brilliant, the only person that has been to see me to speak face to face and the only one that seem to genuinely care! I started to lose hope until Alex took over my case and now I can finally move on with my life after 3 and a half very long years!
As a whole Minster law messes me around for quite a while but Alex changed my opinion on the whole situation. he is brilliant at what he does and I would like to thank him for everything he has done for me! :)

My case took 18 months to conclude and was passed amongst many hands during the process. What people need to realize is you aren't the only case they are dealing with, be patient, send emails for updates, and keep track of your paperwork. They are doing the best they can with what they are given. I wouldn't say it was the best customer service at the beginning but if you are assigned Raza know he gets his work done and works extra hard. He was very patient with my harassing emails and had a friendly upbeat attitude. I can't thank him enough for working with me and helping end this terrible accident experience. Many thanks Raza!

3 years ago i requested they not pursue my case any more by phone call, i still got letters from them for gathering evidence but i didn't pay any attention of them because as far as i was concerned the matter was over with, i find out the case still went to court & now i am being forced to pay the court costs for the defendant.

I rang minster law to find out what on earth was going on & they said they never received a call telling them not to pursue the case (lairs) & have no record of me doing so (how convenient)

I am now up the creek of around £3k because of these lot & i don't have the evidence to take them to task over it!

Never ever use the firm they don't care about you just your money!

Saying that they are horribly bad is too polite for them. They are openly fraudulent, using all their knowledge to destroy your case (even the most obviously to win) and squeeze your money for themselves. Backing up each other - you can not do anything either rising to manager of any level or to their internal complaint department. Absolutely horrible. Sarah Doyle, Craig Croft-Rayner, Laura Pritchard, Luke Howard, Emma Wilson, Jill Newbold are just a few I've had a bad luck to contact with. Avoid at all costs.

Completely and utterly incompetent!
Case moved to a different 'lawyer' as soon as the insurance excess was paid and he did absolutely nothing since. Spent hours building the case for him which he completely ignored. He did not even have the ability to put together a legal doc (full of spelling and grammatical errors!) Wondered who he was really working for. Complaint to the Insurer was redirected to them! Obviously, they found nothing wrong with their own service.
Avoid them and the Insurers who use them.

Complete incompetent idiots. My daughter was hit by a vehicle, whilst parked, she had witnesses,
The offending vehicle was on the wrong side of the road, and these idiots just seem incapable, of getting the case together, communication is a big problem, getting them to understand is frustratingly excruciating, and just plain knackering...morons. the case drags on..I've got little hope of this succeeding.
Now they are tripping over their clumsy selves to justify their incompetence to explain why they have not progressed the case, threatening to close it down if they get no reply from a rental company, which have no baring on the case....I've already took up complaints procedure..avoid like the plague!

I was extremely disappointed in the service I received from Minster Law for a personal injury claim. My case was admitted by the Third Party and it still took two years to settle. The initial GP they refereed me to had written his report before I had even got through the door and I suffered with a shoulder injury for six months because of him. It was very difficult to speak to the claims handler and most of the time the telephone was answered by inefficient unprofessional staff. I made a formal complaint and the level of service did improve. However they took 25% of my compensation and did very little for it. I would not recommend them and would advise anyone with a personal injury claim to go elsewhere.

you are obviuosly one of the lucky ones we have constantly had to ring them for nearly 2 years on an accident that should have been settled within 6 months the other driver addmitted liabilty at the scene of the accident and was sent to driving school for a course. we went months without any contact we complained and had our complaint upheld by the ombudsman we still have not been paid, the claim has been settled but we have not received the money they are now telling us it could be another 2 weeks till we get the funds even though they have it. i resent it being implied that i and many others on this site are liars, you are very lucky to have had your claim dealt with promtly, we have had 10 different people acting on our case, after 49 years of driving and never having an accident i can honestly say that dealing with this company has been one of the worst experiances of my life.

I wish no star was an option. Minster Law just do nothing at all. They use illiterate "litigation executives" (what does that even mean?) who do nothing - don't answer letters, don't respond to emails, don't offer any advice, turn down every possible avenue for claiming. I get the impression that they want to settle for the lowest amount in the shortest time. Most of the time I think the defendant's solicitor would be more helpful and accommodating than they are. DO NOT USE. Can't believe Marks and Spencer use them - should be truly ashamed.

Shocking! Shocking! Shocking!
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
Disgraceful! Disgraceful! Disgraceful!

It's Been 9months since our claim started, which involved me, my partner and my disabled son who was hit from behind from a third party whilst stationary at traffic lights causing damage to rear and neck injuries.
minister laws was given to us by our insurance company so had no option but to go ahead with them after receiving a phone call from a lady requesting our accident details, before we new it we was trapped!
Our car was arranged to be fixed in willow body works and was provided a courtesy car, so obviously there was damage done costing £700-£800!!
After a few months we had Medicals done assessed by top doctors in London reports said we had neck, shoulder injuries.
After few months our case was handed over to Alex Melia who was investigating our case further.. As third party denied liability he gave us no positive hope throughout, we were even willing to put our disabled son and ourselves through court procedures which we discussed with him, we were told that the third party has accused Us of planning the incident whist having my disabled son in the rear who has learning difficulties/ heart defect and was made emotionally and mentally effected by being in a vehicle after his head hitting the back of front seat, we find it emotionally distcusting.
And will be taking this further. On another occasion third party said
Our son wasn't there then also changed it to he was playing in the rear (obviously a lie ) but still no fight for us.
A solicitor wasn't what he felt like, each conversation felt like we were made to be the to blame but we were the innocent party. He tried to put words in our mouth to close this case, which eventually he done just recently, but we are 100% pursuing this all the way with a professional company who will be investigating this company (osbusman).
Any letters received if any was negative, but most times letters I requested was not sent to me and request was. Avoided by him.
We feel as a family very betrayed, upset and angry by the way we have been treated by minister laws.
From what I've experienced and read from reviews there's many people who have been treated the same.
If you would like to contact me 07535280018 and we can do this together.

Worked for them - utterly incompetent, very mentally/emotionally harmful environment, poor training. Seventeen year olds handling claims, completely broken disciplinary system for bullying, homophobic comments from staff and I've witnessed some truly heinous treatment of staff and customers. Encouraged to convince customers to claim even with very minor/nonexistent injuries. Trained to read from a script and fob customers off if they didn't have a 'worthwhile' claim - and incentives given for convincing clients that their injuries were worse than they were. I reported a member of staff for bullying behaviour to a team leader and the team leader used the opportunity to publically shame me into resigning.

This was after the lawyers had twice said I had a very good case and that they expected to win. Don't touch them with a barge pole...They are the biggest bunch of losers I've ever come across, and they will keep you hanging on for ever, two and a half years I was with these people getting told everything was fine. Listen up everyone. If you've had a serious RTA don't expect compensation anytime soon. That is how the system works. My wife had an RTA in November 2012 and has only just settled now, out of court I might add. To be fair to Minster we were told right at the start that the process could take up to 4 years to settle so victims expecting payouts straight away forget it. They need to see how you heal, and what your future prognosis will be before even thinking of a figure. This involves lots of appointments and examinations with specialists appointed by Minster and thats even before the defendants solicitors do the same thing. It's a LONG process. Yes Minster aren't perfect, is anyone, and yes you do feel sometimes that things are progressing far to slow but unfortunately its the system that we are stuck with in Britain, made worse in recent years by so many fraudulent claims. The victim is treated and sometimes made to feel like the guilty party and that is so wrong.

hi I have had a nightmare with them, tied in ref Marks and Spencer car insurance. Went for a 2nd opinion today and found out some interesting information. By law they have to email or write to you (no phone call) about their professional opinion of the valuation of your injury. Which they haven't done for me but now asking me to make a decision on the offer made by 3rd party when I have no base line. Lots of people are now suing companies like this ref misguidance by doing no win no fee. What they also don't tell you if this is a firm ref your insurance company they only get a fee, one payment of 500.00. Therefore its not in their best interest to fight your case. I've always been wary of no win no fee, but even though you have to pay these companies some of your claim they will fight as the more money they get for you ref personal injury the more money they make. Good luck

The service I have received so far from Minster Law has been nothing short of abysmal.
No communication for months until I complained, then I had a flurry of information and then nothing again for the last few months. If I ring up then the person dealing with my claim is not available and they do not respond to emails. My case was a car injury from a third party. Liability was slow to be admitted by the other party and this seemed to hard for Minster Law to deal with. It would appear they only can cope with an accident where liability is admitted straight away and is an open and shut case for them. They will I am sure be putting the bill for their services in very quickly, but so far I am on ten months and counting and still waiting for my case to be dealt with by a competent person.

Hi all I was Involved in a RTA from suspects involved in a robbery of a jewellery shop police gave chase about 6 cars and 2 vans god knows how many officers where there just lots no stinger to stop them as no one was trained ! I saw after the said chased vehicle was in a wreck after colliding with a 4x4 and my car 4x4 people where fine I how ever was just recuperating from a bad fall on ice at work in December 2009 this car incident happened in 2010.They admitted liability and I have had 6 different case handlers had to submit countless bits of evidence got taken to court 3 weeks ago to arrange settlement no paperwork handed in lost in transit, other side has paid money haven't received it as they have stopped payment and its been 5 years + now I have complained countless times, receive no follow ups, chased them all the years with still no luck. WASTE OF TIME AVOIDANCE IS NESSACERY If insurance company us these get a new firm !!! DO NOT USE !!!

Rather than wasting your time moaning about the service you receive on this sort of website, just take the following steps if you're unhappy. It's really simple. 1. Give the company a certain amount of time to resolve your issue. 2. If it's not done to your satisfaction move your case to a different firm of solicitors. That's surely easier than just venting to all and sundry. The first time that a solicitor didn't meet your expectations was their fault. Every subsequent time was yours.

It is advise such as this that is not welcome. It is a review site. This would discourage other people putting in their trials and tribulations on record. I do not think you should move. See it through even if you have to sue the M/S Minsterlaw for deficiency in their service to you. They must employ rejects because I have yet to speak to anybody who has any common sense. My RTA is on going after two years and there has been no correspondence or update for the last few months. What a joke Minsterlaw is?

I am dumbfounded at your review. If, as you say you do not work for them, then you must have dealt with the only person within ML who actually knows anything. Lucky you. I am in the same situation as the other contributors; no information, ignored emails and phone calls. Any correspondence from one individual in particular was barely literate, passed from person to person without any explanation, medical appointments promised and never forthcoming, photographs of the injury the same, consutation with a plastic surgeon the same etc, etc
2 years 2 months down the line and absolutely no further forward. I was knocked off my motorbike, liability is not an issue, injuries are settling down to what will be the new norm, and nothing from ML. Am now in the process of a formal complaint and instructing a new solicitor. I am also considering going to the Legal Ombudsman. Maybe a few of us should do that.

I have never- I say again NEVER- experienced a company as incompetent as this!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am at my wits end- I pay my car ins every month only to be dealt this bunch of jokers!!!!!
On top of that tax and mot!!!!
Then if some idiot runs into you - left with this lot to sort it out????
Maybe La-La or Po from the Tele-Tubs could do a better job!!!!!
Take my advice and jump off the sinking ship-GO TO ANOTHER SOLICITOR!!!!

Hi Anon, fair comment about going to the ombudsman, but Minster Law have got me to the point where I would consider anything! After careful consideration have given them three months to get their act together and have made a formal complaint to their "Customer Care" (!) team. Within a week of them promising to sort it out, have received two letter from different solicitors within ML, they still don't know what they're doing. Tired of it now and just want resolution.

Everywhere I look reviews about Minster Law in general are not very good but I think we need to remember that it's quite big company with couple offices and many lawyers.
I had serious RTA in December 2014, 8 operations so far, spend long weeks in hospital and so far I cant say bad word about MInster Law. My case handler can be contacted normally same day, they organised loads of help for me like private physio, transport, extra advice etc, I received some interim payments allready and everything looks promising to this point. I'm only worried about level of final compensation as according to some opinions that can be problem as some lawyers dont bother to try negotiate. Minster Law has connections or even being part of big insurance companies which is not good I have been told..
I know that my recovery will take at least another 12months so I'm really worried about future of my family and reading that kind of reviews doesn't help me think positive. I did some research online and I hope that the fact that my lawyer just started with that company and also they made loads of internal changes and reorganisations in 2014 will help that company back on track and I will not be another unhappy customer. We will see, for sure I will share my experiences.

My daughter and I were involved in an RTA in June last year when a young driver crashed into the back of our car. Our insurer passed us on to Minster for compensation. Big mistake. Lost information, wrong information passed to us concerning the other driver, months with no updates, ignored emails and no one answering the phone. Beyond poor at every level.
Coincidentally about 6 months ago my daughter was a passenger on a bus that was involved in a crash. This time we used Macks Solicitors, what a difference!! Professional, quickand courteous.

Really awful service, tired to get hold of my claim handler for over the last two months via email and phone but no luck. When eventually I did get hold of her she just wanted to get claim out of the way and wanting me to settle for a silly amount. I found that what she wanted me to settle for was £1000 below the lowest figure that I should expect. I am therefore in the process of taking it further. I would never ever use this company again and would advise anyone else to stay clear. I had to put between 1 and 5 stars rating - I would put Minster Law at minus if it was possible.

What a bunch of incompetent people. I've found myself having to provide necessary evidence to prove my innocence regarding a bus which drove into the rear/side of my car. Failing to use mirrors I also have a witness but minster law now tell me to take a part 36 offer. I too feel like they get to a point whereby if the going gets tough they write you a stroppy letter demanding you seek a second opinion all because I know I'm innocent I have a witness and stated I will go too court. I've asked four or more times to ask for the correct evidence just to he ignored. Will now be taking this furthet

If it has gone by BACs, it isn't instant and normal advice is that it should be accessible within 7 working days from being process (it may appear in the account but not accessible before then). It may become accessible sooner than that, but the 7 working days is given to make sure.

Confusion arises because there is an instant method of transferring monies, which is a bank transfer, but bank will normally charge for this service which is why it isn't done

I can well believe you. My case handler was 'on leave' - then he came back after being in sick leave (stress induced) after 4 weeks. Eventually he wasn't there any longer - and the case was passed to a new 'agent'..

This after an orginal timescale of 3 months (ridiculous) - 12 months in the end, but only after constantly ringing, and pushing along. I would certainly not like to have to work for them - the problems & poor customer service seem to originate with unrealistic work loads for their 'agents'...

In March 2013 I was hit fairly head on by a drunk driver, the driver was arrested and later prosecuted. I sub stained injuries and the insurance passed my details to Minster law. As it was a well known insurance company, I trusted that Minster law was a good company to go with. Now 2 years later I find I'm still waiting for someone who actually has some idea of hoe my case is progressing. Today I was informed my case was now passed to to 6th yes 6th case handler. Each one over that last two years promises to review and finalise proceedings. There has been very little communication. Occasionally a letter to introduce the yet next new claim handler. Every time I ring I get told the person dealing with my case is away at the moment and will get back to me...they don't! On one call I a year ago they were waiting for some updated pictures of scars but they'd forgotton to actually ask me for them either by mail, email or phone. I have asked them repeat lay if I can transfer my case to another company and have been informed this would not be legal as they are the company dealing ( or in fact not dealing) with my case. There have been some pleasant phone advisors but equally some rude ones who make you feel your in the wrong by expecting results anytime soon. At present I would inform anyone thinking of using Minster law to run Think again.Very very disappointed with their service, and after reading others reviews quite scarred that my case will never proceed.

I've read through all the reviews on this page, and to say most are true. I worked for ML not for very long I might say but I won't go into the details of the working environment. All fee earners and file handlers are not qualified solicitors and most don't have a clue, which is apparent from the number of people calling with complaints. I feel sorry for the client relations who have to deal with these. Yes the case load is high but most can't even do basic tasks when they come up and just fob things off. Some are really good and work well. Clients are lied to and this is allowed as long as the clients goes away happy, you are paid there to fob people off on a daily basis. The amount of missing post is inexcusable, how can they lose so much post? I've never heard of this before but this was a main complaint of clints returning post and it been lost or simply put to one side and forgotten. As for them forgetting to send things off this is also done, a lot. I would not recommend putting a claim through them I would go with a smaller firm, and not an over the phone sol, they don't do the work you need them to do. DO NOT USE MINSTER LAW THEY ARE A WASTE OF TIME.

Minster Law took over a year to process my claim telling me at every stage that the claim was strong and that they were gathering additional evidence but several times I had to send material to them again. Now they are saying (even though the circumstances remain the same) that they want to drop the case. Their reasoning does not make sense and is contradictory to what they said originally. I get the feeling that they are just overworked and don't have the capacity to do what is necessary. The tone of the communications is rather threatening too 'please confirm once and for all'.

Having let this drag on for so long has now undermined my chance of taking this forward on my own through the small claims court. It is really an open and shut case, with photographic evidence of a funnel web spider web in tomatoes from Sainsbury's, the store receipt with the manager's signature, photos of a spider bite, medical reports that confirm a wound consistent with a spider bite and Sainsbury's giving contradictory refutation of the claim but having lost the evidence (the box of tomatoes with the spider web).

My advice is to stay well clear of this company. They are slow, unprofessional, and incompetent. At best a one start review. I would give a zero if the system let me.

Firstly, I do not in any way work or have any link professionally with Minster Law of any type direct or indirect whatsoever! I say this because after all the negative feedback I feel it is only right that I come and share my positive feedback without fear of attack or reprisal as not everyone has a bad experience and not all cases are the same.

I was involved in an RTA in June 2012 where I was knocked off my Motorcycle by somebody in a right lane turning left across my lane suddenly and leaving me no room to maneuver or stop, I suffered a shattered lift Tibia and a broken right wrist, almost 3 years later and still I'm unable to walk without a limp and agonising pain and I'm suffering from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, I have also been suicidal.

My contact with Minster Law was via my insurance brokers, I was contacted whilst in hospital before I had even had surgery, initially everything was as to be expected, gusting, reviews, copies of my consultant's letters etc, I went for a private medical examination where I met an orthopaedic surgical consultant who had my GP records but not my hospital records but still went ahead!? When I received the report I read and refused it but it took ML so long to process incoming mail (convenient or not) it was only days before court deadline do someone contacted me and stated the court would not allow more time for another (I never found out if they even asked) I was made to feel 9I had no choice but to accept and therefore sent an email authorising it's release... That's one of several problems.

Later in the process I started receiving offers to settle, I refused a few as blatant insults but my solicitor was still the same and difficult to contact or get a reply from, then one day a large offer came in and within a few minutes my solicitor was no longer a number cruncher with 700+ clients based in a Leeds call centre no I was getting calls, emails text messages and next day delivery letters from John Gibney in what was then the new London office! I was requested to meet face to face before he could process my claim any further and I went to London as soon as I could, in the mean time his assistant went through my file pulling out all the mistakes and we sat face to face and fixed what we could I left with a list of things to do and I was so happy at this point. I realised how it works, so many people now put in claims that most are for such silly things really common sense dictates that you too have a little responsibility yourself for your own actions, if you have a minor car accident and get whiplash or a graze somewhere maybe some shock, should you claim or should you think "well really I did decide to get in/on this lethal contraption again like I do day to day should I not shoulder some of the responsibility?" well claims take so long to get "nowhere" because of these! They often get thrown out of court with nothing but that's a valuable court slot delaying others by months or years! Also if you have injuries there are often months or years if nothing to do and no contact because they need to wait to know your progress to establish the future needs.

John Gibney assisted me very expertly, in fact once I rang him and got diverted to his mobile and he answered it during a shower... I believe that is committed to work! After all his help and advice working closely withmy family as well I received £60k on top of this all fees paid and benefits received in the time since RTA till acceptance refunded and my insurance company paid.

All I can advise is to bear with them, make sure your claim is worth it, remember the silly claims courts are starting to refuse to protect the insurance industry. This has been on the national news sits easy to verify.

Good luck

If you win like me

Grab the one you love and book a week in June (just before It gets too hot) in Venice, I did and we loved every single second of every day and I blew 3k but he'll was it worth it just for the two of us and the opportunity to get to relax away from hospitals and solicitors!

I came home and had further leg surgery! LOL

I could not even give Minster Law 1 star, a totally unprofessional, inadequate unprofessional bunch i have ever met. Case started 20th March after no fault accident. 4 case handlers who have been as inadequate as each other. No work was don't on my case until I called and forced every issue. I even had to call medical company to have documents changed. Teniola my fist case handler was constantly off ill so file was not looked at. Brynie Smith again failed to changed the medical report then left. In July I accepted the amended medical report, it took till September for this to be agreed. October a new file handler Saira Mir and Rebecca Stevenson, negotiations started but they forgot to submit details so we went over the scheduled times, I finally agreed settlement in 27th November. But hey, we have just found out after taking 9 days to get hold of anyone, that they forgot to accept the offer. So a very simple straight forward claim has taken 9 months already because Minster Law and it's staff are not fit for purpose....

Sorry to hear you are having trouble - I too am having similar issues - this company is a disgrace, I really do not like them and wish I had never been advised to go with them - be aware of this company - they are terrible.

I have to thoroughly agree with all the reviews, I think giving Minster Law 1 star is far too much.
I was involved in a RTA in January of this year, unfortunatley some silly women who was texting drove into the back of the guy who drove into the back of me. I suffered quite a bit of whiplash however I am not concerned about receiving any compensation what I am concerned about is the fact that having experienced the unprofessionalism & lack of complete 'everything' from Minster is just well, absolutely appalling. I don't think I have ever experienced such bad customer service, I have had 3 case handlers now, they do not reply to any of your emails or telephone calls. I was actually informed by one of the case handlers that each case handler has at least 700 injust claims to deal with. Firstly that is not my problem, secondly what kind of management put their staff through this amount workload, outrageous...
I am so looking forward to the day when all this sorted & do not have to spend any more of time chasing Minster Law.... The worst customer service I have ever received & for those of my friends/family know I am a very patient person & always look for the best in life.. Awful company, just awful!

Service so far has been terrible. Had RTA in July 2014 still waiting for payout in December 2014; call constantly only to be fobbed off - had 3 different Account Handlers only ever had x 1 letter - I hate this company they are really unhelpful and do not care. Stay away - go with a better company.

Having been involved in a car accident in January of this year, I used Minster Law to deal with my claim. The communication and correspondence has been appaling and I have still not recieved my payout. The solicitor dealing with my claim is Andrew Peach, he is very rude and arrogant and does not have the "people skills " to be a solicitor. He does not use a please or thank you at all and is arrogant when you speak with him on the phone. I have had very little correspondence either and have just telephoned them and asked for someone else to deal with he claim. Overall, a very bad choice of solicitors firm. Don't use them!

Terrible service, being ignored via emails and can't get though on a phone line. I was advised via insurers to go through these people, and am starting to complain to the insurer also. Will never use if I can help it again.

AWFUL! Was directed to then via insurance company following my mum's death in an RTA. They are thoroughly incompetent (even sending paperwork through with another victims name on from a different case). Contacting them is a nightmare, keep being given conflicting advice. Send them paperwork as requested, but it never seems to get through to them (even though I sent it recorded - signed for so I am sure it arrived with them!). They say one thing over the phone, then don't follow through on it, then when you mention it, they act like they never said it in the first place! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Absolute waste of my time. Failed completely to progress my claim even though there was a clear and admitted responsibility from the other party. No calls, no follow up and lots of redundant chasing by me. The only correspondence I had was from their ambulance chasing dept but anything regarding repair of my car was ignored. Ended up using a third party claims management company who have been brilliant but who I am sure will bump up the claim value (for the other party). No wonder insurance is so expensive. It's due to the incompetence of parties like MLS who our insurance companies choose to have us deal with.

They contacted me via my Car insurers and were eager to pursue my claim. However, they are slow, their paperwork is shoddy and their expertise in fighting for YOUR side is lazy. I even had the guy who was put on my case (who I had to fill out more paperwork for again) phone me months later asking if i though I was on the right side of the road!! This was after I had been virtually offered recompense!

My case has been ongoing for close to 18 months and after researching the company I've taken some solace that it isn't just myself that has found that they are seemingly incompetent at following up a clear cut case of liability. They never get back to you to give you updates, so if you contact them they tend to bore you to death with unimportant details and try to baffle you with stuff you won't have a clue about or can't verify; the phrase to describe them I suppose is: "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bulls**t."

After all this time they are starting to ask me again for details of damages to personal effects which they asked me for nearly 18 months ago, 12 months ago, 6 months ago . . . I'm also now on my 4th representative and I can confirm that they are all as ineffectual as the next.

I've been dealing with MLS following our car accident on 11th July 2012. The driver accepted liability at the scene of the accident so we hoped everything would be straight forward - how wrong we were. MLS advised us that as a passenger the driver had accepted liability without prejudice but Churchill's felt my husband was in some way to blame even though we were off road; in a parking space when the driver hit us from behind (driving without due care and attention) so a 50/50 split was offered which my husband rejected. MLS sat on the case for 3 months without doing anything; it was then passed to a specialist who apparently had experience in 50/50 cases who suggested we settle. We rejected - case went to a litigation specialist in December and 3 months later we are not further forward and merely going round in cirlces.

This firm of solicitors are run by fee earner/litigation executives/client care assistant I have been dealing with these people for nearly a year for my daughter who was in R/T/A and they have been a disgrace as no overall supervision by solicitor/lawyer and when corresponding by email or letter complaining to the owner a Mr Christmas a reply comes from a client care assistant why are these people allowed to get away with this

I just wanted to write to say thank you for all the work you have done in regard to the car accident I was in, in March 2010. I really appreciate all that went into our case over the past 18 months or so.
