Over the years I have had the need to use seek legal help to deal with various matters (not including house purchases). After careful consideration of visiting 3 other key legal firms in Barnstaple, we decided to go with Samuels Solicitors. It was the atmosphere, passion for the work in hand along with a high level of professionalism evident from first impressions, that confirmed our decision. It proved to be the best decision we could have possibly made: The legal issues that Abbie dealt with on our behalf, involved family, which was difficult and sensitive - especially as a member of the family was also a solicitor. However, due to Abbies absolute meticulous attention to detail - and her utmost impartial professionalism, she covered every possible avenue and thankfully, the matter was concluded positively in our favour. I was really impressed with the impartiality demonstrated at every level and this remained constant throughout the case. The communication was excellent - eg, throughout the case (which lasted over 1 year - and through the first year of Covid19 disruptions), the solicitor remained very contactable and willing to provide the same level of service under the difficult situation. The legal charges were simply appropriate and very competitive and all costs were always advised and confirmed in writing, so we always knew exactly what the charges were at each stage of the case. I highly recommend the services of Samuels to and especially so, to anyone who has perhaps had a less than happy experience elsewhere and is perhaps nervous of trusting another firm. Thank you, through your hard work, and professionalism we obtained the result sought. Merry Xmas 2021 to all staff!

Service was excellent, very timely, professional and personable. I felt that I could ring any time of the day for advice. They offered a very affordable service. I would most certainly recommend to anyone.

My case was handled with cool professionalism and focused tenacity by Mr Matthew Howe, Solicitor at Samuels. He was courteous and calm throughout. When challenges arose along the case timeline , he proceeded undeterred with intention, single mindedness and determination. He had one goal in mind , to achieve a positive outcome for the client - myself. We won our case . I was elated. I highly recommend this firm of proactive and talented solicitors' without hesitation. The fees matched their talent for winning cases. I was also impressed with the client care and empathy received by prompt emails quelling my concerns.

From the start I was treated with the greatest of respect. The service was for me dealt with in a quick and efficient way. I would certainly recommend Samuals to anyone and would not hesitate in using them again.
