Conveyancing/property

Would not recommend this firm! Really poor customer service! Instructed the firm to act on my behalf regarding a property purchase, and then didn’t hear from them for weeks on end. After countless phone calls to them, I was promised someone would get in touch to get the case going only for this not to happen. Wasted weeks on week, to now move onto a new firm. Just poor communication and service!

Unacceptable service which is currently ongoing , by there own admission. The vendor of the property Iam are buying are threatening to put the property back on the market .
The solicitor dealing with my purchase went off sick and the locum solicitor also went off sick after a couple of days , my file is now waiting to be signed off by a partner ! We are now almost six months later since I instructed this Company to act on my behalf , in what should have been a simple cash purchase of a property . I have made phone call after phone call and sent numerous emails only to be ignored . Avoid this company at all cost .

Service was diabolical, solicitor changed halfway through which meant having to speak to the new solicitor about everything that had gone on previously and guess who pays for that !!!! me
The other parties solicitor walked all over them, wrigleys never offer opinions and wait for you to tell them what to do, they call needlessly send out wrong letters and are generally very poor, no interest in you whatsoever, just milking you for as much as they can get
Avoid like the plague and go elsewhere

I also agree about Corinne Bailey. I was left -twice - with a change of my original Barrister on the days of my child arrangement hearing. At the second/ main hearing, the barrister she had arranged at the last minute- again- could not have been more incompetent. Unprepared and embarrassing. I complained following this disaster and found the handling from W-C solicitors of the complaint less than satisfactory. I felt completely misled and left traumatised.

I phoned them to ask about their Will writing service. I thought that the price was reasonable until they told me to add 20% VAT. I was also not very happy with the fact that I had to go to their office during in working hours...I would have had to take time off and plan my cover.
I got the feeling that I was just a hindrance rather than the customer. I'll continue to search thanks

Pleasant and incompetent then just screw with your head rather than give answers. Escalate it to John Ported - and get no answers. Then to Godfrey Picles extremely arrogant and bends the law to suit himself. Complete with the odd useless solcbitor who refuses to obtain evidence deal with these and you are truly screwed!
Sorry had to put 1 star to post this.

Please don't use this solicitor. I used Corrine Bailey at the firm at the family department. I found her to take advantage of your situation and over charge you. She rushes you and offers poor advise. She also ends up charging you for every additional thing, that's even if she telephones you to ask you something or send a letter of their invoice. I then turned to another firm, which were much better called Curtis Law their advise and service were incredible and the cost was also a lot cheaper.
