Solicitor Spotlight - Williamsons Solicitors

(Posted on 24/02/12)

Editors note: We recently introduced our new series on solicitors in the UK. We’re shining a light on the best of the best. This week, we take a look at Williamsons Solicitors.

As many of our readers know, this is the third in our series of Solicitor Spotlight. While researching for this week's inclusion, we came across a review left on the Solicitor.info site. It was for Williamsons Solicitors and this it, verbatim:

23/02/2012 - Rating by Mike Williams
5stars
Area of law: Personal injury

I am the author of the review below - and am surprised to be writing this for my sister-in-law. She works for our local police, and had injured herself at work. Knowing how I had been looked after by Williamsons, she, without reference to myself, contacted them to act on her behalf and is now well on the way to resolving her situation. She tells me she is extremely pleased to be in such capable hands. Her name is Jill Williams and I am happy to be contacted at any time to confirm these comments.

The comment Mr. Williams was referring to was directed towards one of the solicitors with the firm, Richard Smith. You can read that first review here.

We knew that kind of loyalty by a client speaks volumes about both the law firm and the solicitor mentioned in the review. It's not too often that a consumer leaves a review and uses his solicitor's name. Few things are more powerful than that. It makes perfect sense that we choose Williamsons Solicitors as this week's inductee.

Based in Hull, Williamsons was awarded with not one, but three places in the 2011 edition of the Legal 500. Those areas include family, clinical negligence and crime. It comes as little surprise to many that it ranked number one in both Hull and East Yorkshire. The firm's director, Bill Waddington, said, "This recognition from the Legal 500 is an important achievement for every one here at Williamsons Solicitors and gives an indication on how the firm is going from strength to strength."

To be sure, none of the staff member would argue it takes a consistent and well-developed team effort. So dedicated, Williamsons' clinical negligence department consistently ranks as one of the first choices in the region and remains the only Hull-based team with approvals from both Actions Against Medical Accidents as well as the Law Society's Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.

With several locations, this team of professionals stands ready to go to bat for all of its clients and the reviews it collectively receives on the Solicitor.info website only cements that statement.
