It is the worse experience ever. We had an offer on our appartement on the 25th of September and we are still waiting to exchange contracts 5 month after because of the incompetence and lack of communication from them. The person who deals with my case doesn't know what he is doing, loses info and emails and doesn't follow up on anything. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM EVEN IF YOUR ESTATE AGENT (Purplebricks) SAYS SO!!!!!

On their website it says "As a firm, we are working very hard to make the conveyancing process as quick and as hassle free for our clients as possible."

Looking at the shocking reviews on the web and Google Reviews in particular, and my own dreadful experience, they need to keep working at it. They talk about "Super Fast Conveyancing", Super Slow would be more accurate.

I do not recommend this firm at all.

Avoid. Just avoid. Nothing more I can say. Terrible from start to (well we haven't finished because of the terrible service).

I would like to point out that this company did not represent myself, but were acting for my buyer.
However, I would like to highlight the added stress that could have been avoided by simply returning my solicitors repeated requests to phone him. This was over a period of a week and a half and in my opinion was completely unacceptable,in any walk of life.
Even my solicitor declared that he had never come across a situation where there had been such a lack of general courtesy. Needless to say the extra stress and time affected the chain, and nearly broke it.
I understand that moving is stressful, that we all think that our solicitor is ownly working on our individual case, and has no other work to do,I also understand that there will be delays, further enquiries, and frustrating times throughout, but Lawcomms, please please,PLEASE, at least get your staff to communicate
when required, and if not straight away, perhaps sometime later that week..!!!!!!!!

We were naïve and led to believe by the estate agent that using this firm would secure our offer to the vendor. Do not be fooled into this. You should ba able to make a choice who you choose to represent you and you definately wouldn't want to choose Lawcomm. We found them to be unaware of what was going on majority of the time, we had to tell them what to do next every step of the way.

I can't really recommend this outfit for conveyancing. I was a first time buyer this year and just went for the mortgage broker's recommendation. Do not do this! - I have learned my lesson. I have no other firms to compare to but you can always tell when you're getting poor service overall.

From their recent Google Reviews it appears I am not alone.

This firm is a cheaper outfit that takes on too many cases from what I can see. Inevitably some things take a while (management packs from leaseholders/building managers etc) & local/water reports etc but a lot of chasing was required and it wasn't with a lot of pressure that I ever saw any results. For a simple transaction with no chains on either side this really took too long. (over 3 months from the time I found my property)
