PLEASE AVOID!!! THEY WORK WITH THE POLICE. they have caused so much stress and pain! They work with the police!!!! Both my brothers unfortunately were with abbey solicitors, I remember Janis telling my brother he will potentially go Jail for life on conspiracy to murder ( which caused him to have a mental break down) For something he did not do! Our new solicitors took him in, and got the charges dropped and got my brother a suspended sentence, so from telling my brother he will be in Jail for life to a suspended sentence is a big difference! My other brother was only 17 when he went in for GBH and he was sentence to 8 years, our new solicitors were shocked as it’s not possible, evidence to show my brothers innocence was tampered with, the barrister really didn’t care and neither did Janis, They told us not to appeal it, we appealed his decision with our new solicitor and his sentence got reduced by 4 years, another massive difference. When we tried changing solicitors over they wouldn’t let us at all! even in the court room in front of the Judge they refused to let my brothers go, I wrote the letter to the owner and thankfully because I mentioned Allah, he gave instructions to let my brothers go to another firm. My brother was about to kill himself because of the pain they’ve caused him, I hope one day these people experience the same pain they put me and my family through, I wish no good upon these people. Please I BEG EVERYONE DO NOT GO WITH THEM PLEASE. THEY WORK WITH THE POLICE

My cousin case was prepared by them- he was recommended Abbeys had Shahid Ali as the supervisor and michael Goldwater as his barrister last minute. He got wrongly convicted received double figure sentence because the solicitor kept telling him he will win his case and do not bother to take any witness statements. He then got new solicitor who took ten plus relevant statements and took the case to Court of appeal his appeal was revised as the court said he couldn’t have second bite at cherry as the witnesses were all available. Unbelievable awful solicitors.

Do not use this company. The level of communication is poor. They are only after the fee that they get from the claim.
During my claim, they failed to follow up on medical treatment, and when challenged, told me it was my fault as I had not reminded them.
Did not provide breakdown of the claim and fee's.
Failed to disclose additional costs (10% of the claim went to an insurance fee in case of no claim awarded)
DO NOT USE
