Talat Jabeen was apparently the solicitor that was looking after my case along with the para legal Azka Habib. Both members appear to have had many years of experience however, unfortunately they were still not able to demonstrate basic levels of knowledge on my case. I had a terrible experience with this firm, I would defiantly not recommend.

After they received their payment there was terrible communication throughout the process and the visa application had numerous mistakes that I had to keep on correcting continuously. Mistakes included incorrect address, confusing the sponsor with the applicant, incorrectly spelt names that don’t match the passport, incorrect family information and incorrect email on the application form.
In addition to this, the solicitor, Talat Jabeen apparently approved off and the para legal, Azka Habib wrote conflicting information on the application form and documents which led to the visa getting refused.

There was no communication between the staff members. I had to reiterate the same information continuously to different staff members and re send the same documents over and over again whilst correcting their mistakes. Due to the lack of care, I was given incorrect advice by their firm supervisor Nadeem Akhtar, who until recently I realised was not the solicitor that was looking after my case. The advice that he gave without actually considering and looking over my case was documented to be one of the refusal reasons for the visa application.

Azka habib was the para legal that was dealing with my case and the standards of work she demonstrated was appalling. Throughout the whole application I struggled to speak to her on the phone as she was nearly always ‘on another call’ or ‘was in a meeting’, I would send her emails and only after repetitive emails and calls I would get a response. Azka was not even aware of the email address that she provided to home office as when I emailed her to chase up the response she thought she had given them my details. The visa was refused and if I had not chased it I would have not even know the response. When I was eventually able to get a response, Azka emailed me saying ‘ unfortunately the visa was rejected’ with the home office attachment. There was no information on what to do next or anything to suggest that they actually cared.

I paid to have my application submitted within 7 days however it took them nearly 3 weeks. I would call and chase up my case with no luck however once I sent complain emails CC’ing different members and stating that in my contract it clearly stated that we had agreed on a 7 day I was able to get a response.

Despite paying to have my case looked over and check by a solicitor, I do not think Talat actually looked over this case or the documents submitted as I would be surprised if a qualified solicitor would not spot the mistakes on the application that I and the home office spotted.

The visa was rejected over exactly the same reason when I had submitted the application myself the first time in addition to 2 over points that were due to mistakes they had done on the application.

First of all they cold call you everyday for weeks trying to get you to pay in full. When you pay they get you to leave a Review quickly so they have Positive reviews. WARNING ?? they will not do the job you pay them for. Months will pass and they use every excuse to avoid calling you and then after my 6 month battle trying to get them to respond they refuse to refund you. You say you’ll come to see them in person as they NEVER reply to you or phone you. And that’s when they play victim with a cease and desist letter that they have pre loaded for quick reply and then they block you. Read reviews of this firm. Avoid, and share this review. Currently I’m in negotiation with Ombudsman to sue these street Th*efs. Warning trust at your own risk. They are cheap for a reason!!

My previous agency did everything themselves.
Here you pay lots of money and you do everything yourself . They do nothing and potentially it takes lots of time .

They didn't review it thoroughly .
Application agreed to change date of arrival but lawyer forgot to change this in application form. When I asked she said I told you we have passed changes stages . She has to give you lots of excuses just to prove she is right )))
They just want to make some money by doing anything doesn’t matter it’s good or not .
Better you close this Allison law and open charity and ask for money to survive You will do this better.

My recommendation for you who is looking for a solicitor: AVOID THEM!! They only give you assistance in the beginning just to take your money, then they do absolutely NOTHING! You can't get in touch with them because the solicitors seem to be "busy" all the time you ring and doesn't even reply your emails. AN ABSURD! Nadeem (one of the solicitors) is the WORST! DON'T HIRE THEM!! Only gave 1 star because I had to select one, otherwise, would be 0.

I will definitely not recommend anyone. I am currently receiving very bad service from Alison Law Solicitors LLP . The worst law firm I have come across in UK. I wonder why they are allowed to operate. They are after money. Once you pay the money they disappear , ignore your emails , your telephone calls . I just saw similar reviews about them being more of scammiers than offering legal service and not responding to clients. I have seen it from my experience with them. They didn't do anything for me and are taking forever to refund my £2200. I also just realised their two employees were exposed by the BBC news Inside Out on 19 October 2012. Google the firm Alison law solicitors and ask for ALL their names first and search without paying. Their story in West Midlands will come up. Do not go by the POSITIVE reviews about any of them you read online. They all look like dubious reviews and a complete contradiction of the reality , of who these so called solicitors are according to my experience too with them. My experience with them is of a law furm with no client at heart , a law firm that does not keep promises, a law firm that is not honest and no empathy at all and not responsive at all especially after you pay the full amount and you will be hearing a lot of lies . I am still waiting for them to refund my £2200 .Please take this advice seriously . This is an honest review of my experience with them.

I’m absolutely gutted the way the clients are handled by so called professional law firm
I wanted to do ILR for my wife and had already paid half amount as (as per the person from the company it was a limited offer to get discount). While doing the transaction I was told that I will receive an email stating the transaction amount but I didn’t but still I was told to proceed with the transaction and pay half of the amount so I did. I received an email after few minutes stating that the quotation is valid for 48 hours but I was rushed to pay for the amount. Very cunningly I was forged by the some professionals which may be their daily routine in practice.
Post which I spoke to Person handling the case and was went to mail me in half an hour .But there wasn’t any mail or communication
When I tried to reach him no response and when tried to chase up again ,was asked to pay the balance amount .since I didn’t get any response I decided to ask for refund ,which didn’t happen instead very smartly he send me the details about the requirement on the case .when I replied to the mail saying I have already asked for refund ,and that there has been no team communication,I was responded with a mail stating that I will not receive any refund as they have started working on the case but I never asked them to start because of the awful experience I had but when I asked for the refund This Tuesday, I got an email saying they get back till Friday and as expected they sent me email asking for the documents to prepare so they can say that they worked on my case so I can’t get the refund. .such a hoax .how can can they even call them self professionals .pathetic experience would never recommend them 0 star from my end .

Affordable cost, however, do not recomend!

Following my experience, my advice is DO NOT TRUST!

I hired Alison Law Solicitors beginning of June/20, and I wish I was here to talk about the amazing service promised on their site, calls, and phone record that you hear while you wait for someone to pick up the line.

I had the best support I have ever seen till I finalize the payments which were agreed on half before the solicitor the call and the second half once the call was finished (invoice dated as 05/06/2020).

In the first two weeks of the process, it was OK and I got the support needed. However, after that most calls started not being answered, and if it was answered the people in the office started answering me on phone angrily, rudely, completely unprofessional and some moments even arguments happened.

So, after that, I decided to let my first review on Trustpilot explaining the experience till that moment and guess?

On 15/07/2020 (one day after the review is published) I received a call from customer care/service from the company. The person heard and understood what was happening and told me that he would manage the situation with the person in charge of my case. However, I was asked to delete the review. I explained that I would delete once my case receives the correct orientation and care.

At this point, the person in charge (Nadeem) stopped receiving my calls and everything started being treated through his assistant (Sarah). Meanwhile, the person from the CX team was chasing me to delete the review. Once all was done and the application was processed, I deleted the review.

Last Friday (06/11/2020), I received the update from the office and contacted straight away the people in charge as the file received doesn’t have all the info that was asked to me and given to them.

They made my application, however, missing documents that would be relevant for the visa application. The answer was, we are not asked to provide, and my question is if you are not asked to provide why did you ask to attach all those files?


On Friday, I wrote one review and also emailed Nadeem, He answered the email on Saturday morning (I do appreciate that), however, on Monday the answer was:


On Monday, was my last contact with them and one call was scheduled and since then, I have made at least 4 calls and the answer is “they are not available”, email stopped being answered and the company is ghosting me completely.


"I understand your frustrations, however, there is no reason for us to not provide evidence in relation to your application.

Further to the above I am willing to re-do the application (at no cost) again and submit this ASAP however I am not in a position to do this whilst you are leaving review.

I look forward to hearing form you.

After this email, I deleted the review because I thought I rushed to do, and guess!
As soon as I deleted, everyone disappeared again.

They took my money and do not want to rectify one error that was done by their office.

So, here is my advice, look for one company that cares about your case as it would be their case and not just one more folder on their desk. Unfortunately, Alison Law Solicitors for me is just one more company fooling and scamming people that need help.

At the moment, looking for another company to look after my case and also reporting this company to the fraud system, and also hoping to have my refund.

These people are liars. They will take your money and then do no work at all. When you try to get a refund they claim that the money you paid is theirs and not yours and they then start to insult you, bully you and lie to you. I am taking them to the ombudsman. Anyone who wants help in claiming their money back from these crooks can contact me any time

Quick to call me back and receive £1,300 payment to “help” with British citizenship. No exams were booked, nothing was done. Just a couple of forms were sent over after constant chasing and the company has ghosted me when I asked for a refund (2 months have gone by). Strongly discourage to use. Nadeem (my contact) has been so unprofessional

Hi there,

I highly recommend Alison Law Solicitors - I received an extension on my visitor visa in the UK due to COVID-19 complications/cancelled flights to Canada - it was due to expire in six business days and they were prompt in their response and application for an extension within 48 hours (they went above and beyond to help!), followed by a positive response from the UKBA within a week or so with no additional fees incurred. I am free to travel out of the UK now with no over-stayer restrictions.

Well worth the service, and a huge relief to me.

Zoya was my first phone contact and was absolutely friendly, efficient and helpful. Nadeem - who handled my case afterwards, was the same - due to the urgency of my application I received a call from him the same day. He made sure my extension application was received and put my mind totally at ease.

Best lawyer ever!!

Very honest, professional, competitive, compassionate she used all her power as a lawyer to get my spouse visa. It would've been a very difficult case without her. She even considered my financial situation and didn't charge me as much. God bless.

My wife and I used Alison Law Immigration for our Eu permanent applications the permit was successful and it was back dated so we also applied for our British citizen applications . They are very knowledgeable about immigration matters. , her they are very helpful and always available to speak my experience has only been good with them.

I contacted Alison law after reading online how to do a spouse visa myself. After many hours of online reading I was more confused. Alison Law Solicitors have assisted me with the application and all the documents. Currently waiting for a decision which is delayed because on the lock down.

Great firm

Alison Law helped with my recent employment-based Tier 2 visa. They did an amazing job helping me with the recommendation letters, the case file and preparing me for the government process. They were always very responsive and would get back to me the same day. Nadeem is very knowledgeable and stays on top of the changing regulations in the immigration law. My case went smooth, was successful and I would definitely recommend them.

We have lodged our UK immigration petition on Tier 2 Category. We got our approval in 14 days. It was all because of Nadeems expertise and professionalism. He is very honest, pragmatic and smart in how to present your case that you wouldn't lots of queries and resubmission which very crucial for immigration applications.

I wish I had the possibility to rate this firm a zero. don't even deserve half a star.
I contacted One Source solicitors for visa applications for my mum and kids. After persuading me with a so-called Bank Holiday offer, they transferred my file to their sister firm. Their service was not only unprofessional, but they are scumbags. My caseworker made so many mistakes on my application forms, it took them two months to complete visitor visa and tier 4 visa dependent application forms and wouldn't take my calls. I decided to withdraw the file, but a senior staff Jubair contacted me and convinced me that the said caseworker had faced disciplinary actions and would be more professional. He pretended to have changed and to empathise. It was very very important for me to see my 1year old body who was meant to travel with my mom. But Nadeem my caseworker made careless mistakes on the application form and their visas were all refused. and when I complained, their chairman tried to intimidate me via email. i replied to him with all the proof that it was a costly mistake from his staff member that has now caused me almost £2000, no visas and the chance to be with my 6year old and 1-year old baby. Someone needs to be accountable for what this firm has done to me. The UK immigration solicitors prey on the weak and vulnerable because they are ignorant of the law and are often afraid. They instil fear in foreigners with immigration issues and squeeze funds out of them. The UK government needs to do something about such solicitors. The social media campaign starts now... #Justice for all foreigners who have been misled and deceived by solicitors# If you know what is good for you, keep you money to yourself and read about the UK law, make your own applications, because there is a 90% chance of yu losing your money by hiring inexperienced and unprofessional solicitors like Alison's and One Source Solicitors

Just to say had a misunderstanding with the company things misunderstood happy to say all sorted out by Nadeem back to Nadeem now representing me for our spouse visa as he has in our fiance visa which has been approved thanks to Nadeem recommendB8

I was quoted £1200 for both the fiance and spouse visa all in but to my horror they now tell me it was only for the fiance visa so a lady called Kerry working for them at the time got me the quote they are totally denying it was for both I would not recommend using this solicitors rude and do not rush getting back to you I had more stress with this company than any time in my life avoid avoid avoid
