We waited nearly a month for an appointment with one of their specialist will solicitors at their Llanrwst office. Turned up at the appointment and were asked to wait as there had been a slight delay. Waited 30 minutes and was told the solicitor was delayed and we would be called upstairs shortly. I asked what the delay was and was told the solicitor was somewhere between Chester and Wrexham. Well their Llanrwst office is a good hours drive from Chester so I asked how could she be also upstairs? After several more questions I was eventually told that the solicitor we were supposed to be seeing was not in the office and our meeting would be with another solicitor via an online TEAMS MEETING. Problem is they could’t locate this person either. Ended up walking out of the office in disgust.

Service was a no win no fee, but they went ahead and put a terrible offer in without my approval, shambles from start to finish, had to take them to the regulator, would not ever use these, very poor service.

Had same problems with this firm regarding my late Uncle's Will. As a result beneficiaries had no clear evidence of their inheritance. Had to report to Solicitor's Regulatory Authority and their findings were"clear issues of poor service".

An error was made by one of the team regarding a charge against a property which cost me over £4,000 to reslove. Allington Hughes were not interested in sorting out the problem explaining that it was by a partner who worked for a previous company. Basically as always buyer beware they are happy to take your money but not so happy to sort out any problems.

I had same problem with TEP advisers at Wrexham. Both lead Male and his female counterpart blamed an ex Colleague with regards to my late Uncles Will. It has taken me 3 long years with my complaints to both SRA and Legal Ombudsman. Finally with the evidence stacked against these two individuals. The Firm have now been found guilty of Clear issues of Poor Practice.

We dealt with Julie Bryan at the Wrexham office. She was incredible throughout the process. It wasn't always straight forward as there were complications with the seller's solicitors but Julie was always easy to contact and made the process as smooth as possible. Would definitely recommend.
