At an Initial consultation of a family law case (asset management), we were advised it was very straightforward and would be concluded within 4 weeks.
12 weeks in and no work has been carried out on our behalf even after the person dealing with our case “promised to work all weekend and have something in the post on Monday”. That was 4 weeks ago.
3 months, and 12 calls later (which only 2 were returned) we have parted ways.
Please avoid. There are far better out there.

We have used Ash Clifford three times in the past 2 years and have always received exceptional service. I am not the easiest client - yet my solicitor made me feel so comfortable I almost forgot I was In the middle of a transaction. One of the fastest completions I’ve been through. Have recommended to many friends and family who have all received same high quality service. Thanks again!

This bunch of incompetent so called professionals are working for the sellers of a house we are purchasing, over three weeks on and our solicitors have yet to receive and paper work... when I called to ask why I got no answer bar a rude women who was very blunt and unhelpful.
Do not use this company a bunch of dinosaurs ????

Where do I start.....this is the 3rd time I have had the misfortune to deal with ash Clifford and 20 years on their service is still non existent. They acted on our buyers behalf and to say they were laid back was an understatement....sending letters to get " urgent" information when we were due to exchange ...dictating e mails and more importantly telling our estate agent, solicitor and our buyer consistently different stories...I am flabbergasted they are still in business and interestingly I see that "inappropriate content" is taken down about them...if that means saying they are unprofessional then no doubt this will also be removed. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE .....I shall continue on social media and will not be silenced on this practice ..they are shocking in their incompetence

Stay clear how rude this lady is in this firm I thought we were paying her to do a job and to keep me informed of progress 2 months and still no correspondence from her to the extent I’m asking sellers solicitor for updates on the 2 occasions I rang or emailed and she was so rude when I rang I emailed and her reply was I have other people to sort yes but I am paying you to do a job so I would like to know what’s going on stay away go somewhere where they are not rude to clients

Bought a property and this company was working for the other party. Rude emails, poor communication and a dated arrogance that gives solicitors a bad name.

totally incompitent did all the work for them all they had to do was file for probate , still waiting 8 months later tried to pay out at xmas half the money missing - the banks said they were totally useless and am now filing a complaint with the law society these people should not be trading as solicitors - this matter should have been resolved within weeks not months absolutely fuming - avoid at all costs !

A very old school and dated solicitor...
Zero communications - unless you use Post.. I don't think they have heard of e-mail or spreadsheets. Desperate to hang on to funds for no reason but to keep them in their account ...It took days to find out funds amounts held my client account
Said they wrote letters but never supplied copies
AVOID - the worst solicitors I have ver known

incompetent.
failed to write to me after my case so I missed my appeal deadline.
Forced me to plead guilty so we could all walk away
failed to ascertain any mitigation and let the CPS walk all over me without challenging anything. I could have been convicted of murder and Ash Clifford would have not said anything

Service - unethical, lost paperwork, lied to SRA and LCS. One partner parted company with firm, the other still there for time being. Charges still being argued, serious poor service found, and an agreed amount relating to possible negligence case. Plus fees being paid for specialist lawyer dealing with negligence.RECOMMEND TO OTHERS, THIS IS A JOKE RIGHT?
