The solicitor dealing with me was never around. Never answered calls or returned emails. Always made me feel I was doing wrong when I did see her. Anything I put forward was brushed off. If your looking for help dont go to these people. She caused me more stress and anxiety than I needed to be out through at a time like this. Patronising and rude. I would avoid.

The service from Biscoes in Wickham was first class .
The lawyers and their team are second to none.
Prices were very competitive .
Cannot speak highly enough of them.
I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
First class firm.

Conveyancing/property

I used this firm for the first time about 15 years ago when my son in the army had a problem and I travelled to Portsmouth with him....Coincidently I found them again when searching for a conveyancer (even though I'm in Essex and they are at Portsmouth) last year when buying a property and have just used them a second time with the purchase of a piece of land. I used Gillian Cowling who is the easiest person in the world to talk and if something needs doing, she does it. Thank you Biscoe's.

General Legal advice

I paid the fee to consult a solicitor. They gave me some advice, and I did the work myself. They still charged me a lot of money, I expected a small amount but not what they charged me. I disputed it, but they would not reduce it.
I wish I had thought to look for a forum first. Rip off. I did not sign their contract either.
I am a senior citizen, but no consideration for that.

Will and probate

Scam company. Try to claiming money out of my mum. My mum she does not sign any paper asking them to dealing with my late dad estate. They do not have the right to go ahead and do it.
There is no agreement whatsoever between Biscoes and my mum. They cannot send a draft of paper of whatever they have done and said they done it. Now pay the money.
In fact the information they filled in the form is not even corrected.

Medical negligence

Patronising is an understatement!!if you have no knowledge of law and need help do not ask these people.
They made me feel stupid and that my issue was unimportant!They are meant to help people that are in difficult situations not make them feel this way.
Maybe this solisitors is made for lawyers, doctors, etc but not the average person who needs help!

If you want to be spoken to in a patronising, belittling attitude where your calls are put through to voice mail because the secretary just doesn't want to speak to you that day then this is the one for you. on more than one occasion it felt like they were representing the other party involved in my case continuously worrying what they might think instead of me. Had to make a formal complaint due to the lack of care from this team and due to the fact they numerously misrepresented other important people trying to get what they want quicker without worrying about the cause and the effect it has on their clients. I'd avoid this branch to high heaven it's not worth the stress, tears and worrying they all cause you!
