With a recent house move we opted for a local firm instead of the chains pushed by estate agents and it was a great decision.
The service from requesting a quote to completion was amazing, pricing transparent and comparative, communication excellent!.
We found it makes a huge difference when the pressure is on with issues out of your control and you speak to the same 2 people (Val/Joanne) every time instead of going over things again and again with someone different, as can be the case from past experience.

Organised things very quickly as searches etc. were taking longer than normal dual due to the pandemic. Good communication via the phone and email . Any queries that came up during the process were sorted out and things proceeded well

The conveyance service was very professional - as expected. I had used the firm in 2013 and again they were competitively priced , always do what they say they will and keep you updated. If the need arises to speak to the solicitor, I have only found them to be availing or to call you back within a reasonable timeframe. The staff are warm and friendly too. I would not hesitate to use again or recommend unreservedly.

Used booth ince and knowles on our first property purchase. So wanted to be repeated customers.

I don’t know where to start from the day our case was took on Joanne and val could not be anymore professional. Brillant team very responsive to emails Took calls when we needed and kept us reassured at all times can finally say after 23 weeks of the sale of my house in Denton I am finally in my new house thanks to Joanne. I’m unsure if we will ever move again but would use you 300 % services are excellent. Or for anything else we may need in the future. We can’t thank you enough Ryan + Abigail. Many regards ????

Top notch. We used BI&K for our previous purchase, and for this one. The whole team are very responsive, which was important to us this time as there was a lot of last minute changing of plans further up the chain. Highly recommend - Reasonable Price. I had problems with the buyer stalling the sale of my property, and this was very frustrating and stressful. The Staff and Solicitor were professional, efficient and kept me calm throughout the whole process.
Even though this was not a smooth a process as it should have been, their fees remained the same as was quoted. (£756 all in) Cannot fault their services.

The service provided by Joanne Charlesworth was quick, efficient and very professional at all times. Joanne was very easy to talk to and made me and my husband feel at ease when we went in to see her to sign the paper-work. All the information was explained in "laymans" terms. The cost for buying and selling properties was £1000 (approx), which was cheaper than the Estate agent fee for selling our house at the cost of £1762.50!
I would certainly recommend Joanne Charlesworth at Booth Ince & knowles, Market Street, Hyde, Cheshire, to anyone.

I have used Joanne twice now and can honestly say is the best Solicitor I have come across and would put forward to anyone without question. This firm were suggested by the estate agents and I am very happy that I went with their suggestion. I purchased a property and the conveyancing fee was £396 plus VAT and Joanne was well worth the fee. She was professional and friendly and kept me informed every step along the way. She took all the problems in her stride and nothing was too much trouble for her. I trusted her to handle my affairs efficiently and promptly - which she did. I don't make recommendations easily but am happy to say that I would recommend Joanne for any conveyancing work.

The service was fantatsic, Janet Davies was my soilcitor and she may our move to our new home run very smoothly. She worked quickly and very effectively, and she was always only a phone call away to help us. Moving out can be a very stressful time, and the reason I would recommend this solicitors is because they work hard to get you what you want as fast as they can to relieve any stress. The price was good too, for all the work that was done, they were very fair. If you want a good mortgage advisor, speak to Janet and she knows a man named Steve who was awesome. Phone Janet and you can ask her for his details, after all Steve my mortgage advisor recommended Janet at Booth, Ince and Knowles.

Janet was recommended by everyone we asked in the know for good reason.
If you want a quick, efficient and hassle free solicitor who can handle any issue don't bother with anyone else.
Janet even guided the other solicitors receptionist through her first completion. The vendors solicitor left us high and dry after deciding he wanted a half day on the day of completion!
Worth every penny.

After reading the comments below and needing the advice of a conveyancing solicitor I rang Booth, Ince & Knowles and spoke to Janet Davies directly about the issue in question to see if she was able to help with a domestic property ownership issue. She was incredibly helpful with a really down to earth attitude; putting the situation in laymans terms. Need to to some further work myself, but will definitely go back to Janet for an appointment when I'm at the next stage.

Service was excellent. Janet Davies was thorough, professional and friendly throughout. She was usually available to answer calls and there was a very timely response to messages and emails. Other staff that we dealt with were also very professional.

Charges were higher than other quotes, but turned out to be worth it.

DEFINITELY would recommend to others without hesitation.

I have used this company on several occasions twice on purchasing a house and on bereavement.With regard to prices they are similar to others.I have used two offices Hyde and the one in denton.They have been very helpful and professional on all occasions .When ever i have asked for advice it has been no problem to speak to a solicitor even 3 years after i dealt with them.I would highly recommend them and if i need a solicitor in the future i certainly would use them again.

Janet has just completed the probate and sale of my late mother's house and I can honestly say that we couldn't have jhad better service. The fees were very reasonable (cheaper than we imagined)and everyone was so helpful. I used to feel uncomfortable about dealing with Solicitors, until I used Booth Ince & Knowles in Hyde. I feel complete confidence in the service I have received from this firm and very comfortable in dealing with our affairs. So far having used their services for moving house twice, dealing with a relatives estate upon their death and looking after our Wills. All experiences have been professional and friendly and expedited in a timely fashion. I would recommend this firm of solicitors without hesitation.

I found Booth Ince and Knowles from the solicitor.info website and chose them based on their ratings from other satisfied customers.

I am based in London and was initially concerned about the distance of my solicitor from me. However after speaking with Janet she gave me great confidence that the distance was no obstacle and so it proved. The correspondence from Booth Ince and Knowles was always prompt via email, phone and post and the service was impeccable and they delivered within a tight time frame as we were trying to push our offer through to exchange before other offers for the property were accepted by the vendors.
I dealt with Janet Davies throughout the whole process and found the her to be friendly and very helpful with advice and proactive.

I also found the pricing to be very competitive compared with other solicitors.
Definitely Recommend!!

Extremely professional & efficient, yet very open (by way of discussing all matters in Laymans terms)
Our buyers legal representative was clearl inept, yet Booth, Ince & Knowles,knowing how tight a schedule we were on, unquestioningly picked up the buyers slack and all without any hesitation or question from us
Once again, thanks to Booth Ince & Knowles, our experience with them has been 100% pleasant, stress and hassle-free
Cannot think of any reason why we would not use them again or not recommend anyone to use their services
They really do know the meaning of good, down to earth, yet efficient business service to their clients

We have used the services of Booth Ince & Knowles on several occasions, Most recently when we moved house, which was a swift and painless experience for us (probably not for Janet Davies) who dealt with the sales/purchase matters. All issues were resolved in good time and we were very satisfied with how the affairs were handled. Our Wills have also been handled by the firm and we had clear and concise guidance when making them. Wayne Allen handled the affairs of a close relative who sadly died and we were kept informed as the process of probate went through. We would have no hesitation in recommending this firm for their first class professional and friendly service.

The service from Booth Ince and Knowles on the conveyancing of my house move was absolutely faultless , extremley professional service from Janet Davies who covered everything and was always ready to answer any questions we had , i would highly recommend using them and the fee's were very competitive ( no hidden charges and cheapest quote we had ) for the service we got , maximum 5 star rating from me .

Excellent service from Janet Davies in some trying circumstances especially on moving day attempting to sort out fund transfers when others didnt appear bothered to do the job properly .Many thanks for your excellent service throughout in dealing with our house move and at times going the extra mile so as to make up for others not being quite so professional. Buying or Selling property should be, it is conceived, a stressful experience. However having just completed business with Booth, Ince & Knowles I feel cheated, for after 6 months, conclusion in selling a property has left me without that stressful feeling. But on reflection I think I understand why - the Janet Davis syndrome - unflappable, human, patient, not what I as a southerner expected of a Northern solicitor. Now after 6 months my anti-stressful medication in the form of Janet has been removed, I am really at a loss, and I can only recommend that if buying or selling is on the horizon, and you want your rightful stressful few months then don't contact Booth, Ince & Knowles.

Have sadly due to mum's departure had 2 separate occasions to use this solicitor.
Initially for sale/conveyancing of her property & recently for will/probate needs.
Janet Davies has on all occasions been superb. She has been a star & has made the whole process straight forward. Very professional, approachable and keen to give good guidance in laymen's terms.
I personally will have no hesitation to use this solicitor in the future should i have need, guaranteed peace of mind.
Felt they were competitive on their costs.

Buying a house is not something most people do very often and I had an additional challenge as I was trying to do this whilst still living in France. Booth Ince and Knowles and in particular Janet Davis were first class in the professional, helpful and enthusiastic service provided. Without their positive approach and encouragement it would have been a much more difficult experience and I have no hesitation in recommending the company, a first class service in all respects.

We have dealt with this Solicitor over more than 10years and we have found them to be professional, trustworthy, give us a personal touch (not just one of the clients but gets to know you & your companies needs). They have dealt with both general law, property law & business, wills & draiving law. We would recommend them to anyone who wants a personal touch & not just a mechanical drone. Both Solicitor & Staff help in any way they can to assist you with your problems. Noting also we have found them to be reasonably priced. 5star to the Company

All the staff at Booth, Ince & Knowles were consistently helpful when I purchased property recently. Janet always offered practical and professional advice and remained very patient when, at one point, other people in the process became `difficult` She also proved that you dont need a solicitor on your doorstep as the 200 miles between us didn`t deter effective & efficient communication between us. I will be buying property for investment in the near future and Janet and her team will be contacted. Full marks to them all.

Have used Booth, Ince & Knowles twice now for our conveyancing needs.
Both times have seen them extremely professional in their business and very thorough, ensuring details we weren\'t even aware of, were of were all correct.
Both times have seen their company very approachable, timely and if said would contact us, did so on the time and date stated on all occasions.
Have found them to be very professional in their manner, yet will discuss all matters in laymans terms for you, so that you are 100% aware of what is transpiring.
Not once have we contacted them and been met with engaged calls, or not avail for any reason.
Letters have been sent on a timely basis and their fees are very competitive to the general market
Overall, we are extremely impressed with their services and woud not hesitate to use them for a third and subsequent occasions, should needs arise.
We can highly recommend their services and am sure you will be 100% satiisfied with their overall service, whatever the matter.
Well done Booth, Ince & Knowles, you have done us a great service for a second time, seeing each occasion is successful and went without any glitches at all.
Good to see you retain that personal and family orientated approach to service, making our time with you very relaxing indeed, given such stressful times as moving home twice (once even overseas!)

I've used Booth, Ince & Knowles for three big house purchases and have always been amazed with their prompt service and their willingness to explain everything in plain English. I live over 200 miles away from their offices but this has never been a problem - Janet Davies and Jackie Glaze are always a pleasure to work with.

I dealt with the hyde branch of booth, ince and knowles. Selling your home can be very stressful and in my instance it was a complicated case but the service I received from my solicitor at booth, ince and knowles was second to none. I had only dealt with call centre solicitors in the past which often left me very frustrated whereas with booth, ince and knowles the staff are friendly, personable and there are never any problems speaking directly to your solicitor. I will be buying a new house again in approx 6 months I will definately use them again, in particular Janet, who is a credit to her company.
