I simply cannot put into words just how shocking this company is. Their lack of knowledge and failure to carry out proper checks and due diligence on behalf of their clients is nothing short of negligence. I strongly recommend that you do not use BHR, do your own checks and source a competent solicitor, but if my experience is anything to go by you should simply avoid using this company at all costs. Do not let them do to you what they have done to me.

My experience with Brewer Harding & Rowe LLP has been nothing short of shocking! I paid significant fees to this company to represent me and to protect my interests as a lay person. I am not a solicitor, I am not trained in law and hence I relied upon this company to provide me with competent advice and support. I expected them to discharge their Duty of Care towards me, to provide me with advice on the contracts that I was entering into and to make sure I was fully aware and informed of the conditions and liabilities that I was signing up to.
Unfortunately Brewer Harding and Rowe LLP treated the transaction as a tick box exercise and completely failed me in their Duty of Care. They did not inform me of onerous conditions, check out who the parties to the contract were or whether they were even entitled to sign these contracts. They failed to identify multiple serious concerns within the contracts or even the fact that the entire transaction was classified as an illegal UCIS.
They also completely failed to comply with SRA Guidance and as a result, the incompetence of Brewer Harding and Rowe has resulted in a significant personal financial loss.
Brewer Harding & Rowe LLP have been provided with the opportunity to discuss my losses, but are unfortunately refusing to correspond with or talk to me about their failings. My case has been reviewed by another local solicitor and the findings of this review are simply unbelievable! The extent of the failings by BHR are huge and widespread.
BHR LLP are refusing to communicate which means that I now need to take this up with their various regulatory bodies……
My advice to anyone considering Brewer Harding & Rowe LLP as their solicitors is simply don’t!!! Go elsewhere, do your due diligence and select a competent solicitor, which is something BHR have failed to demonstrate!!

I made a complaint about some terrible advice I was given by Brewer Harding And Rowe.
It amazes me that they're working in law, pay a bit more and get somebody competent.

Im currently looking to take action against Mr Ball for such terrible legal advice, which he later denies giving.
Luckily I recorded my Meeting with Mr Ball. I don't know if he's extremely incompetent or corrupt, either way, I would give Mr Ball a wide birth.
I was surprised at his lack of knowledge of the criminal justice system to the point members of the court have expressed their sorrow over the terrible work he's been doing, as it has created a lot of extra work on their part.
He also seems like he's in a day dream most of the time, and I have no idea how this guy hasn't been struck off already.

Terrible service did more harm than good. I got rid of Rod Ball and went to another Solicitor, who has fixed some of the major blunders from Rod Ball. Investigations into negligence are inbound.

One to avoid. Brewer Harding & Rowe completely messed me around and up on my house purchase. I had to change to another firm (Samuels of Barnstaple, who have been exceptional) at the 11th hour. Really, really bad experience with Brewer Harding & Rowe
