Brown Holliday & Clements

Will and probate

1 stars

28/06/25 - Reviewed by Probate process

My experience with Brown Holliday and Clements in relation to managing a family inheritance has been profoundly disappointing. What initially appeared to be a routine probate process has devolved into a protracted and opaque affair, eroding both trust and confidence in the firm's competence and integrity.
After more than a year of navigating legal formalities, which one might generously assume included standard checks and documentation, the process appeared to reach its conclusion – on paper, at least. However, in practice, absolutely nothing has materialized. The inheritors, left in limbo, have been given no clear timeline or explanation for the delays in distribution. When inquiries were made, Brown Holliday and Clements attempted to shift blame to others involved in the handling of the inheritance, yet have failed to provide any coherent rationale or evidence to support this claim.
This evasive behaviour has only heightened concerns. At this stage, the suspicion is no longer merely about inefficiency, but potentially about mismanagement – or worse. The lack of communication, transparency, and action is not only unprofessional, it borders on negligence, especially when dealing with matters as sensitive and significant as carrying out a deceased individual’s final wishes.
A legal firm entrusted with such a serious responsibility owes its clients clarity, diligence, and ethical conduct. Brown Holliday and Clements, sadly, has demonstrated little of any of these qualities. One hopes they reconsider their approach and provide the answers – and outcomes – that are long overdue.
