"I was fortunate enough to choose Andrew Kormornick of Business Lawyers Direct to look after the sale of my Company and also a Lease I gave to the Buyer.

Not only was Andrew a specialist in this field, he listened to my requirements and told me of the pros and cons of the different options I could choose. He dealt with the sale from start to finish and always returned calls to keep me updated.

"I was recommended to Business Lawyers Direct by the agents who had just agreed a sale of the business that I’d run with my wife for many years. We were very sceptical at first – not knowing about the legal process, how long it would take and wondering whether the Solicitor would really look after us and protect our interests. We were planning for our retirement having worked very hard over many years and didn’t want anything to go wrong.

I can honestly say that our decision to use Business Lawyers Direct to do the legal work was the right one. From the start, they proved to be professional as well as very easy to talk to. There were a number of issues that my wife and I were concerned about (staff, stock, orders, equipment on lease, timing etc) and I’m delighted to say that they explained what we could do and what we couldn’t do very clearly.

I was particularly worried about my staff as some of them had been working for me and my wife for many years. The solicitors at Business Lawyers Direct were able to reassure me that all my employees would be protected which was something of a relief to us – and to them!

The sale went much more smoothly than we expected and we’d have no hesitation in recommending Business Lawyers Direct to anyone who’s selling a business."
