Avoid like the plague. They are slow, do not communicate, attention to detail is non existent. The most unprofessional law firm I have come across in my 20+ year career. So bad we have sort legal advice and are making an official compliant to the Ombudsman and the Law Society. If you value your sanity don't go here! If I could give them no stars I would.

Challenor Gardiner completed conveyancing for a property purchase for me in 2016.
It took me a year to get a receipt of transactions which was frustrating- and now, nearly 3 years later I've just found out through a 3rd party that they did not complete the deed transfer and my property is still not legally in my name. I have emailed them 4 times in the last week and called their office 3 times - and not a single person has responded to an email, nor has a solicitor called me to talk about it. Nothing.
I have others chasing me as this is holding their legal proceedings up and Challenor Gardiner simply will not respond. Its beyond frustrating and totally negligent.
I'm taking the internet in escalation to invoke a response from them.
If I don't get a response here, I will be contacting the SRA CLC in the next few days to complain and escalate.

I'm sorry that you have had a frustrating time contacting us. You're initial enquiry came only last Friday at 4.10 into our general inbox, not directed at anyone in particular, so was not picked up until Monday when your email was forwarded to our conveyancing department to respond. I accept you should have received an acknowledgment at the very least to having sent an enquiry and please accept my apologies that it took a couple of days to contact you. Such a matter would require retrieval of your file to see what happened at registration.
Yesterday, only a couple of days later, we sent you an email to let you know that we had the transfer document on file and it appeared it was due to an oversight at the Land Registry that your name did not appear on the title. We immediately lodged an application to rectify the matter and let you know straight away. Registration was completed in the next few days and we let you know.

They run a free Wednesday evening clinic which was a real life line. Legal matters can be such a maze. It was good to have this initial directional talk. A forward thinking approach at a stressful time in an environment that usually feels hostile. Thankyou.
