Decision to intevene into practice of Charles Dunbar as Rees Jones Solicitors
Reasons/basis
The reason for the intervention was that the Panel of Adjudicators Sub-Committee resolved that Mr Dunbar had failed to comply with the Rules made by virtue of Section 31 and Section 32 of the Solicitors Act 1974, namely the Solicitors Code of Conduct 2007 and the SRA Code of Conduct 2011 and the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules 1998 and the SRA Accounts Rules 2011. The Committee further resolved that there was reason to suspect dishonesty on the part of Mr Dunbar in relation to his practice as a solicitor.
Other information
The practising certificate of Mr Dunbar has been suspended with immediate effect.
