The London based branch is ranked highly. The Guildford branch must be the extreme exception. There was nothing to commend here. Engaged at partner level for divorce proceedings. Dismal experience. They charged with abandon, and without any reasonable justification when compared to progress or results.. Billing was repeatedly inconsistent and sporadic to therefore ensure the bills kept amassing-- before you could address one (belated) invoice, thousands of pounds of fees had already mounted up again for the next one. MOST dangerous element was completely incorrect legal advice that essentially forced me into agreeing to opposing counsel’s terms on numerous issues from employment agreements to parental contact despite documented safeguarding concerns. I finally changed firms when a friend who had also recently divorced reviewed the legal correspondence and was adamant that I challenge this firm’s advisement or change firms immediately. I chose the latter. Things vastly improved and immediately progressed as soon as I did.
