Dwayne McAvoy was positively heroic in dealing with the protracted (not CVC's fault) sale of my house and purchase of my new home. I cannot recommend his service highly enough. I used CVC before when Nic Jones was there and they have dealt with any legal issues for me since. I have always found them friendly and efficient.

CVC are the least competent firm of Conveyancing Solicitors that I have ever dealt with. They failed to do a straightforward freehold transfer of communal land. It’s now well over a year since they were given instructions to do this work and it’s still not done. I think this may be down to one individual, but it still reflects badly on the firm, especially as the Partners failed to resolve the problem when it was raised with them.

We cannot recommend CVC solicitors highly enough. Dwayne McAvoy was outstanding and completely on top of his game. He managed what seemed like the impossible and completed our house sale two days before Christmas. If you are looking for a competent and efficient solicitor who is completely on the ball then Dwayne is your man!

We recently used Dwayne at CVC and i have nothing but a good review. We completed our first property purchase in just over 1 month. He was super Quick to respond and always on the ball and very helpful. Totally stress free. Highly recommend.

They owed us a refund on a Radon test during our house purchase from due in Jan 20 and it has taken till now - mid September 20 for it to be paid despite our constant requests by email and phone. COVID Lockdown is no excuse for such a poor service. We would never use them again.

I was selling a piece of land and asked how much it would cost me to sell it, i was told not to worry, as the buyer pays the cost when its sold . The land has still not sold and they have billed me They should have advised me that if the land does not sell, then i would have to pay, but they did not.

This Mickey Mouse outfit should be avoided at all costs! Unless you're happy to wait 6 months to complete your house sale or purchase. They will wait as long as possible to complete despite being chased repeatedly. Your nan would do a better job, and wouldn't rip you off in the process. Be warned!!!!

We had the very unfortunate situation of selling our wonderful house in Cornwall to a couple who used this solicitor.The individual concerned was unpleasant and did her best to attempt to cancel the sale.
We know this from others - and the fact it took her SIX months to complete.
Avoid.
