CVC are the least competent firm of Conveyancing Solicitors that I have ever dealt with. They failed to do a straightforward freehold transfer of communal land. It’s now well over a year since they were given instructions to do this work and it’s still not done. I think this may be down to one individual, but it still reflects badly on the firm, especially as the Partners failed to resolve the problem when it was raised with them.

See review 11/11/15 Exactly the same happened to us. Advice - if your buyer says they are using this solicitor find another buyer. They are bullies.

They owed us a refund on a Radon test during our house purchase from due in Jan 20 and it has taken till now - mid September 20 for it to be paid despite our constant requests by email and phone. COVID Lockdown is no excuse for such a poor service. We would never use them again.

I was selling a piece of land and asked how much it would cost me to sell it, i was told not to worry, as the buyer pays the cost when its sold . The land has still not sold and they have billed me They should have advised me that if the land does not sell, then i would have to pay, but they did not.

Took a ridiculously long time to respond, send out documents and had to be chased up on every occasion. A completely unprofessional service. Avoid.
