Extremely Unprofessional - Avoid at All Costs!
I recently made a formal complaint to them about one of their Solicitors who was acting for me, but the firm completely ignored their own procedures for handling complaints.
According to their own guidelines, a different person should have investigated my complaint, yet instead, I received an email from the solicitor I was complaining about, informing me that he would be looking into it. This is both unprofessional and highly inappropriate.
Additionally, I submitted a Subject Access Request (SAR) under GDPR 2018, and despite following this up 16 days later after no acknowledgement had been sent to me, I still haven't received any acknowledgment or response and we are now over the 1 month that a SAR should be processed within.
It’s clear that the only way forward now is to escalate the matter to the SRA, Legal Ombudsman, and ICO.
It seems they believe that being solicitors gives them free rein to disregard rules and regulations, but this lack of accountability is unacceptable.

Hayley was absolutely brilliant. The other lawyers in our chain kept letting down the process, but Hayley was brilliant throughout the whole process. I would not hesitate recommending her.

Very disappointed with the level of service received. Inability to read and understand simple instructions. Total lack of advice. Charges - think on a number and add 50%. Never again.

Very poor service provided by Sarah Trickey. She was rude and unhelpful throughout the conveyancing period. On the day of completion, she was "in meetings" thus was very unresponsive on the most critical day! I could not believe her nonchalant attitude to this day.
I can never recommend such a poor company that uses someone like Sarah.
