DWT legal added completely unnecessarily to the stress and bother of a house sale and purchase. The first solicitor who dealt with our case was completely incompetent (has since left the firm) and could not offer legal advice. Subsequent paralegals were better, but again struggled when things were not straightforward. They were incredibly slow to reply to queries from myself, the estate agents or other parties solicitors, and this meant we had lots of pressure from those parties. The chain nearly dissolved due to the solicitors. Following eventual completion, they took ages to pay outstanding bills. Use at your peril.

This outfit was a complete waste of time and money.

I was selling several properties and after weeks and weeks, the buyers said they cannot get any sense out of MY solictor

Afterwards, DWT Legal told me that they will no longer proceed with my files

I asked Why not?

They refused to tell me.

I had to find another solicitor, and begin the whole process again - which spooked the buyer who then decided AGAINST buying my properties.

A YEAR LATER, a letter arrives from the small claims court instigated by DWT Legal for... wait for it ... 'Abortive charges' - amounting to a huge amount of money considering they raised a separate claim for EACH PROPERTY THEY REFUSED TO ACT ON

Wait... what? Yes. They refused to act, and a whole year later took me to small claims court for money on files THEY decided not to act on.

Stay away from these idiots unless you want to end up in a similar situation.
