Of all the lawyers I have worked with over the years, Neil is without a doubt the best. He brings to his work an appreciation of the business environment, risks and objectives so that no legal decisions are made in a vacuum. Consequently, his legal work (and the extent to which certain areas were researched or explored) were balanced by the business requirements saving time and money. A rarity in the legal field, Neil not only manages risk, he facilitates business.

Neil helped us structure, negotiate and put in place our first client SaaS contracts. His technical and commercial advice was invaluable - he understands exactly where we are coming from. He is very responsive, a pleasure to deal with and I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with him!

Neil and I worked alongside each other for several years securing software business overseas. He was a huge asset. He made things happen quickly in some very challenging environments - tying up contracts, helping with tenders and he was always very commercial. But it wasn't just his technical ability I valued - he was a great person to travel with.

We have been working with Neil for many years now, more recently on a retained basis because he has become someone we trust and who understands our business requirements. Neil has proven himself to be incredibly adaptable and has always been our go-to person for the more complex commercial agreements we have had to put in place. Neil is relaxed, engaging but also very professional and can lend his breadth of experience to provide considered opinion to many different areas of law. But it's his detailed analysis and instinctive assessment of a commercial scenario and his ability to get to grips with the business requirement, the causes and effects that make him an invaluable sounding board for us.
