Excellent firm of solicitors. They looked after probate for my family and I couldn't recommend them enough.
I deal with many firms of solicitors in my profession and would rate FBC as the best firm in the Shropshire area.

This law firm were instructed to act on a residential purchase of a new build so a quick exchange of contracts needed! Solicitor instructed August 2019 same time as the mortgage. Mortgage offer received September 2019. Initial solicitor provided with all requested documents and proof of deposit. Then told solicitor is off sick so deal with secretary, then secretary on annual leave can i call back. Then told solicitor has left the company so someone else in different branch dealing with case. New case handler doesn't return calls or emails. Then get 1 email from them then they are on annual leave. End of November they apply for the searches!! No contact for ages, no reply to emails or voice messages. infrequent contact with fob-off reply's. February and the solicitor is asking for documents provided to them in September! Shocking service

The worst people to deal with contested probate. Already dealing with a death and having to constantly chase them and prompt them what next steps should be. Never get back to me or reply to my emails in a timely manner. Don’t seem assertive either to want to win a case. Total and absolute rip off! They don’t even deserve 1 star

Would not recommend these solicitors for their conveyencing. The solicitors don’t respond to queries and the paralegals don’t have a good understanding of the case to be able to respond effectively.
Very disappointed and frustrated with the service.

I had these solicitors from national accident helpine, they are still dealing with my claim but are the worse company every, the person dealing with my claim sharaz kharn is very unprofessional!!! I’ve rang numerous of times left my number with no contact back, he would prefer to email than call. Asking me questions he already knows which I told a man that came out to see me to take all my details. Told me my claim would be done very soon and now I have to wait till jan 2018, was meant to have a medical report done 6 weeks after my injury and still waiting 6 months later!!!! DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE TERRIBLE

Have used this firm for past 10 years for various matters across several departments, but service this time was absolutely dire,
Promised completion date in short timescale, but they missed this by over 6 weeks, simple transfer of name from joint to single as part of divorce for 3 properties, for which they charged an arm and a leg for two of them.
Was originally dealing with Shrewsbury office, and got passed one month later to extremely unprofessional solicitor at the Wolverhampton office, and given no explanation why.
His 'quality' of work included ringing me up demanding me to find telephone numbers as his internet was down for my lenders, to getting me to ring up the wrong mortgage company to get a completion statement to him.
To say I was not happy with the level of service is an understatement, and he promised he would get the fees reduced for the poor service, but netherless got charged in full. He did not even have the politeness to tell me by phone/email that the properties had completed. Made to wait till letter sent out in post several days later. How antiquated is this firm? Would suggest avoiding at all costs!

Not a happy customer at all. Had a decent enough experience getting a quote in writing for a conveyancing job, and am a high networth individual local to Wolverhampton. However after giving feedback about a matter re my conveyancing that I was not happy with early on in the process, I got a very short to the point email saying they decided as I was concerned at alleged communication that had happened, it was best if they didn't act for me any more. Very blunt email from a legal assistant. I wouldn't mind but they are the only solicitors I have ever used, time to find another!

I would highly recommend fbc Manby Bowdler. We dealt with Adam Biggs from the Shrewsbury office and he was absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t fault him on his level of communication and service – He was always available via phone or email and he was incredibly helpful and quick. The charges were reasonable. 5 out 5!

FBC Manby Bowdler are the largest firm in the West Midlands and are able to provide a wide range of services to its clients. In my dealings with them I found them to be utterly professional but at the same time very friendly.
