I recently had the pleasure of working with Foys Solicitors, Doncaster for probate services following the passing of my late cousin. The process, which took 42 months, was far from straightforward, with challenges such as managing a large number of beneficiaries, legal and administrative complexities surrounding the sale of property and motor vehicles, and delays in selling the property caused by the pandemic's impact on the housing market.

Despite these challenges, the team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise throughout. They tackled every obstacle with a calm and measured approach, providing clear explanations and sound advice that helped to make an otherwise stressful situation more manageable.

While there were occasional periods where communication felt a little stretched, whenever updates were provided, they were always thorough and easy to understand. This attention to detail and clarity went a long way in reassuring me that the process was in good hands.

Overall, I am incredibly grateful for the support and guidance provided during such a difficult time. I would highly recommend Foys Solicitors to anyone seeking probate services—they are professional, compassionate, and reliable. Thank you for your hard work!

I recently worked with Lee Hunter and his team at Foys Solicitors for the probate services required to administer the estate of my late cousin. The process took 31 months, largely due to a range of challenges including a high number of beneficiaries, complex administrative and legal issues surrounding the sale of property and motor vehicles, and an extended period needed to sell the property due to the pandemic's effects on the property market. Despite these obstacles, it was a pleasure working with Lee and his team. They consistently displayed notable professionalism and skill in handling each aspect of the estate, helping to guide us through a complex process. While communication lines were occasionally stretched, the information shared was always clearly explained, which was reassuring during such a long and intricate administration process. I would highly recommend Lee and his team at Foys Solicitors to anyone in need of support during what can be a daunting and stressful time. Their expertise and dedication made a real difference.

From start to finish the team have been so professional and absolutely amazing in dealing with my late grandmother's home. It has not been an easy road selling her home but they have been so supportive the whole way thru. They explained everything and to be honest did more then expected for the amount they charged.I can not thank them all enough

When you find yourself in the unfortunate position where false and malicious accusations are made against you and you are placed in an environment that is foreign to you; it can feel lonely. You need to be able to rely on somebody that will fight your corner and be there to stand by your side.
A horrible experience can be made easier to bear with the resilience offered by a solicitor who knows what they are doing.
Steve took the time to explain everything. He was always on hand to take my phone calls and all my queries were dealt with in a professional and timely manner. Steve certainly gave me the confidence that he has extensive knowledge and experience and that he will be there to guide me through the process to its conclusion. Happy to recommend him to anybody!

Superb will writing service from Lee Hunter & his lovely team Sam & Andrea. From the outset Lees approach to the process was 1st class, maintaining good comms with a warm, welcoming and assuring approach. A professional & trusted service at a very competetive price, we werent disappointed and will certainly use Foys again. Would highly recommend as a professional service with a lovely family touch. Hard to come across these days.

Buying our first home during the pandemic was made much easier by the team at Foys Retford. We dealt with a friendly and knowledgeable paralegal on most issues. She worked with the conveyancer to make sure that we knew what progress was being made and when we had to take action. On the day of completion, the conveyancer communicated to us clearly and accurately. Great value for money and easy to deal with

Writing my first Will was so easy as Sam, the paralegal, took me through every step. The advice on wording of beneficiaries and chattels documents made that part so easy to complete. And the simple steps for the entire process made it clear how to complete it all.
Sam responded to all my email queries the next day so it was all done in two visits.

Great service, straightforward, clear and efficient. My anxiety about finally getting around to writing a will was quickly dispelled. At around £100 for the service, it was good value and I would definitely recommend Foys.
