If you are looking for a group of so-called 'professionals' to provide you with incorrect advice and information, send across incorrect documents, provide no translation or support to understand legal jargon and rely on you, their clients, to get processes executed to ensure you house sale/purchase goes through, all whilst they charge you a significant amount of money over and above their originally estimated fees, then these are the solicitors for you.

We raised a complaint with Geoffrey Leaver, after we spent an unacceptable amount of our own (working) time clearing up messes that they had created and put our house sale/purchase at risk at several points through the process. It was clear that Geoffrey Leaver (amongst, I suspect, most other solicitors) feel no accountability to provide a professional conveyancing service, as the complaint itself was clearly skim-read and not responded to thoroughly, then we were offered an insulting £240 total compensation (we paid £16,758.67 to them in total). As a point of principle, we have not even accepted the 'compensation' because we feel so aggrieved by how we have been treated and this comes nowhere close to compensating us.

Claim was very difficult but despite that fact I am very pleased with general result. Solicitor who looked after me called Sam was exceptional. Updates was all the way through the claim. Money was received in full therefore I highly recommend this firm.

His legal professionalism coupled with his appreciation of the commercial side of any dispute is invaluable.
