Left me in legal limbo. They deserve a zero-star rating at most.
In 2020 Goad & Butcher represented me in buying a property. The sale was completed, I paid my fees and the purchase price to Goad & Butcher. Some time later I looked on Land Registry for the title deed and found I was not named as the owner. Goad & Butcher refuse to communicate with me about this matter. While I was their client if they had foreseen a problem they could have warned me and advised on risk. I got no such advice. The SRA say it is a service issue and they cannot deal with it. The Legal Ombudsman are still looking at it. Three years later I am still not named as the owner of the property and still no word from Goad & Butcher.
