Grove Tompkins Bosworth drafted a will for my husband and I, and they are in possession of the original copy. They have also been responsible for my late mother’s probate. I am a joint executor and beneficiary to my mother’s estate, my mother passed away in October 2019 and as of 22nd May 2022 the probate has still not been finalised over two and half years later. I have found dealing with Grove Tompkins Bosworth to be very difficult. They suggested that I defer to my brother as he was also an executor to the will, but they failed to advise me exactly what this meant, and have consistently used this as a basis for not communicating with me. The ordeal has also been heightened by poor organisation and an unwillingness to proactively bring things to completion. Reflecting on this poor service, my husband and I decided that, for the sake of our children, we would like a different solicitor to deal with our will, and so asked Grove Tompkins Bosworth to forward our will to us. In response to our request all that concerned the firm at the time was whether or not we would be prepared to pay for the postage. And today, over a year a later, we have still not received our original will. Grove Tompkins Bosworth have proved to be very disappointing!
