Went with my mother who is 91 & walks with a walking stick today. We had an appointment booked for 2.30. When we went in we were told by the receptionist that the room was being used & they were running late. My understanding was, that the female solicitor we were seeing was in that room with a client. 25 mins later after waiting to see this solicitor I really was annoyed. I expressed this to my mother but as the receptionist heard she choice to defend herself. We were told that the client before my mother was late, we is not our problem. What is the point of an appointment system if ur not going to stick to it. I could understand if it was 20nmins but sitting in a small little room, with masks on & the heating was very frustrating. The receptionist could no understand my frustration as I pointed out how long we had been waiting, my elderly mother sitting for so long & the lack of communication. Turns out my mother's appointment wasn't in the diary anyway. When I asked the receptionist why, she replied she didn't know. I stated we were hgoing as it was now 34 mins we'd been waiting past our appointment time. The solicitor then came out & wanted to know what the problem was? I was accused of shouting which I wasn't. I had a mask on & it difficult to be heard when uve got them on. I was expected to expect the delay. I've now asked for a refund of £90. & they've lost the other £400 that would of been payable when the documents were completed. I listened to the receptionist on the 2 visits I was there & was horrified at her bluntness to customers on the phone. My mother is a client of the moseley branch but they didn't provide the service we needed. I'm absolutely disgusted at this incident today & will never return for any service they supposedly provide. My mother could of had this service of signing documents at home but at no time was this pointed out to us.
